"Good Pizza with a Twist at Nancy's Enjoyed Uncle Tony's super thin crust pizza at Nancy's Chicago Style Pizza in Midtown Atlanta – tasty and well-made. The evening was made more memorable by a surprise performance from a volunteer marching band. A fun and unexpected addition. A solid 4-star experience for anyone looking for good pizza with a unique twist."
"The best pizza I’ve ever had. We normally have it delivered at work, but I ordered takeout a few nights ago to take home to my wife, and the young lady working the to-go orders was absolutely wonderful! Huge smile, friendly, and bubbly personality."
"I was so excited about taking my adult son here for a casual deep dish pizza experience as part of his birthday weekend. No one was at the front to greet us and the restaurant was exceptionally warm. Once the young lady walked us back, most of the tables were not clean so seating preference in a less than full restaurant wasn't an option. After several minutes a young man came and asked for our drink order. I asked if the pizza is similar to true Chicago style. He said, "I don't know cuz I ain't never been to Chicago." I was utterly perplexed and tried to regroup. My son then asked about the thin and rustic to which the young man described as like Pizza Hut thin and traditional. Still confused, we just ordered because we're both diabetics and on a Saturday night in the ATL it wasn't worth leaving. While waiting on two small simple pizzas, we watched everyone around us get their pizza and eat them before ours arrived. The workers knew we were not happy and that we had been there a very long time because I overheard them in the back. However, no one had the decency to inquire. When the food arrived, I noticed my pizza was wrong. I ordered pepperoni with black olives, but was given mushrooms. My son's deep dish was soggy and undercooked! I was so over it, I didn't say anything, cause why? Needless to say, this simple "pie" grab was an epic fail! My son just wanted me to be alright and I wanted to be since it was part of his birthday experience. Disappointed is an understatement. Hence, as a business owner, native of ATL, and supporter of local restaurants, this is one I can say will not be in our rotation. It's simply not worth the drive or energy. Owner, make it right. My son deserves a "do-over" and honestly so do I for the money. We paid, left, and gave the food to someone in need and went to CFL down the street."
"There's a reason that you don't mention Geno's Pizza at Nancy's. There is no comparison. I stopped in and ordered a pie, asking if it was similar to Geno's in Chicago. I was politely told that the "G" word was not acceptable here. I received my personal pie Chicago style about 30 minutes later, and took it to my hotel to eat it. The pie is NOTHING like any CHICAGO pizza I've ever had. I am really not even sure i'll finish it. I've had Geno's, Geno's East, and multiple deep dish versions up and down the east coast claiming to be Chicago style pizza. Nancy's Pizza should close down and reopen as a college style pizza with a Chicago style flavor."
"I was in high anticipation of enjoying a Nancy's Deep Dish pizza, however I was disappointed at the results of my deep dish pizza. The pizza looked great on the outside, but wasn't cooked thoroughly on the inside as can be seen in the attached photos. I even placed it in my home oven for an additional 20 minutes. The dough and green peppers were not cooked all the way and it appeared that the pizza was cooked at high heat but not cooked long enough. Customer service was great, I was disappointed in my pizza, but this can be improved. Lower heat and longer cooking times. Thank you."
