Johnny's New York Style Pizza

"Ordered a large and medium pizza with some cheese sticks as an appetizer. Requested extra sauce because it usually is drier if I don’t. For there to pick up my order when I was told it would be ready. When I arrived I was told it would be another 6 minutes. I noticed a white plastic bag on a desk or shelf behind the counter. After 10 more minutes my pizzas came out and the waitress started to hand me the white bag which contained my cheese sticks. I said I’d prefer some hot ones and she took them to the back room saying they’d remake them. After another few minutes she brought them out and when she opened the box they looked darker than normal. Like they just rewarded them. I has been sick a few days and wanted to get home instead of spending another 30 minutes for another failure. When I got home and the kids started digging in there was barely any sauce on either pizza and I they had given me a small pizza instead of a medium. Charged me for the medium though. We tossed everything. This place used to be great, but after reading the reviews I see that my experience has become par for the course at the Mirror Lake location. I also noticed that the owner has not been reaching out to customers that complain about it so I can see how this is a continuing problem. The manager did offer to remake but as I said I was am sick and wanted to get back home. It’s truly a shame that with the rising costs these days that customer service and a heading in the opposite direction. At least at this location."

"Jess waited on me, I sat for a while before anyone speaking, this man came sat beside me and she greeted him warmly! I don’t like prejudice people."

"I hate leaving a bad review, usually every time I come, Jordan is amazing. He has professional and personable service and is always happy which is why I’m only leaving 4 stars for him. However, today was ridiculous. 12/19/23 around 1pm-2pm, the waitress was not friendly whatsoever. I didn’t catch her name but it was a white female with brown hair and black glasses. You could tell she did not want to be there, she didn’t even offer a smile and was not personable. She was way nicer to serving men there for some reason. We were there for an entire hour and didn’t get our food, we had to go because the kiddos were getting agitated due to hunger— we didn’t think we would wait there that long. The waitress didn’t even refill our drinks the entire time we were there. People would arrive after us and get their drinks refilled/food served before us. Then she continued asking us exactly what we ordered because she didn’t immediately put it in the computer or write it down. If you can’t remember it an order, write it down! Today’s experience was ridiculous & I hope no one has to experience that. She needs to be retrained or fired. It’s not hard to offer ONE smile. We ended up just getting it to go and to top it off— our order is wrong! She needs to learn to write orders down because obviously she isn’t good at remembering things. Thank god we aren’t allergic to anything. Shaking my head at this lady."

"I wasn’t that hungry and decided to give Johnny’s a second chance. The first time I went there I found an actual knife cooked in my pizza( they said then and now that there were new people in the kitchen) . I just ordered a Caprese and Bruschetta . He brought the Caprese out first and I thought I was seeing things, the tomatoes were sliced so thin you could see though them. The waiter blamed this on a new guy but he brought it out to me looking like this. He did ask if I wanted another one made and I did say no. The Bruschetta was then brought out served on soggy hoagie rolls with a small amount of toppings on them and covered with cheese. It tasted horrible. Please either make this right and charge more if you have to or take it off the menu. It wasn’t terribly expensive but I would rather pay more of better quality. I guess this beats cutting into a knife in your pizza. I asked and was told I could not keep the knife."

"The waitress was very unprofessional. Didn't really want to take my order. Wasn't patient, the food was not great or good. The barbecue dip seems like a bunch of minced meat with the little cheese, and the bread was super hard. The calizone was full of cheese, but there was not much meat at all. Kinda likely a blind man put the meat there?"
