"Once again, best annual visit. Wish I could have Dr Bodi as my primary doctor. She is very welcoming, patient, does so much to help you feel comfortable. She's one of those one of a kind Doctors that has the presence of genuine care for her patients. Bedside manner phenomenal, compassion and sincerity interaction very authentic. Thank you! ~Sherry Q."
"I hate this location. If you’re a black woman/ woman of color, I suggest you find another office that is actually concerned about your health. I was always uncomfortable going into this office because the doctors there are racists and further question every information you give to them like they don’t believe you or are asking in judgment. I needed medication for the severe pain I was experiencing for my periods. They found the problem and claimed they couldn’t do anything about it, but also did not want to prescribe me with proper medication strong enough to relieve the pain during my cycles. I had two different doctors come in and question me. It very much seemed like they thought I was a “drug seeking patient”. But if you’re not willing to get rid of the problem, what else am I supposed to do? On another visit, a male doctor, I forgot his name, asked me do I smoke. I said no. There was a very long silence and he looked as though he wasn’t sure what to write on the paper. Then he looked up at me and said, “That also includes marijuana.” Duh. Why did you feel the need to ask me that? I know what “smoking” means, I’m not stupid. Do you emphasize that to your white patients? Very prejudice. Stay far away from these people. They will smile in your face and be rotten to the core. They do not care about your health unless you are of their own skin."
