"If I could literally leave a review rating of zero I would. I am a healthcare professional that had to spend one night post surgery in the hospital. I had a laundry list of complaints that I took to the hospital. For example I did not see food in 24 hours and yet I had not a single dietary restriction! I was there by myself and I had a bed that did not work, therefore I had no way to even call the nursing staff if I needed anything. I had completely incompetent nurses, that if breathing wasn’t automatic they would be dead! Not only did they not check on me, they performed a procedure which I knew was incorrect and begged and pleaded with them to contact my doctor, which they refuse to do. Ultimately this procedure delayed my recovery by five days! This is all because the nursing staff was completely incompetent And don’t even get me started on the preop… I arrive, get checked in, they immediately want to start doing labs. I inquired as to what types of labs they were going to be doing, considering I just had an entire panel of labs done the day before per the hospital’s request. I am a self pay patient, so I am very aware of over billing insurance companies. Literally they were going to run the exact same labs and charge me $500 for these labs, which they had just run the day before! Then no surprise, my surgery was delayed by almost 2 hours. I understand unforeseen circumstances, but I was stranded in a room hooked up to machines, in a lovely hospital gown, with no television and no blankets… I was absolutely freezing and miserable then, let’s summarize by speaking of how long it took to get a wheelchair brought to my room to take me downstairs to the car my husband was picking me up in… I literally was about to walk, because it took almost 2 hours for transportation to come and get me!!! And these are just the highlights of my horrible experience. Of course I brought this to the hospitals attention and 40 days later I receive a letter, thanking me for bringing this to everyone’s attention, but at this time, After further review, everything was handled as clinically appropriate! Are you kidding me!!!!!!!! What part of this is even close to being clinically appropriate! To add insult to injury I was told that my expenses for the evening in the hospital we’re going to be around $10,000… And I just received a bill for $18,000 today, and this was literally just for my overnight stay of sheer misery in the Greenville Hospital system! The absolute worst care I have ever received anywhere in my entire life and I now get to pay $18,000 for this experience! Did I also mention I was a faithful employee of this hospital for over 11 years. Now… I would not even send my worst enemy do you have to get any procedure done in this facility!"

"WORST EVER EXPERIENCE Went to ER with severe hypertension. Blurriness, dizziness, disorientation. Clip Board Lady followed me down the hall demanding payment of my delectable while I could barely understand what ws going on around me. Far more interested in collecting money than providing medical service. Go to St. Francis if your have a choice."
