"Thank you everybody we're home we're waiting on a call from the doctor to give the rest of the test results they gave him something for nausea and stomach spasms and an IV said to follow up today if anything else goes wrong I would suggest not going to Prisma hospital if your child is sick I've always had better luck and treatment at Bon Secours but it was so late last night we went to the Children's Hospital hoping that he would get better Medical care than I've gotten over there but I must say and I hate to be ugly I'm not trying to be ungrateful but our hospital system has become a joke and they don't have any urgent cares open now and you have to have an appointment to even go to an Urgent Care at night so poor my child was just stuck between a Rock and Hard Place I'm going to give the credit to God that he feels better definitely not to the hospital system they did nothing but leave him out in the hallway give him a couple of pills and sit back there and laugh and joke like they're having a party a child does not understand that they want to know why when they feel so bad nobody's doing anything to help them after the nausea pill they told me they'd be back in 20 minutes to check on him to see if he was doing better after an hour and a half I went and told them we were just going to leave and go home and follow up in the morning at that point they decided to get up and do an IV give him a pill for his stomach spasms they drew some blood and did an x-ray I never got the results of the X-ray and then he got sent home and told to follow up with a different doctor the only reason they did anything I believe is because I went back there and called them out and asked them why you're not doing anything for him we're just going to go home but I only saw one doctor and she told him if he could drink a cup of water that was the only thing standing between him and going home it may not have been urgent and I thank God it wasn't but I don't believe that they even took the time to find out /thanks everybody for your prayers I know that was the right thing the last thing would be that when they tell you they don't have a room for your child they're going to have to stay in the hallway I would definitely say I watched two rooms empty out at least 7 to 8 times while we were out in the hallway and sit with the lights out so I finally asked someone when they tell you they don't have a room but one comes empty eight times they still don't put you in it and she answer me straight forward and said no I don't believe I'll go to the Children's Hospital again if I can help it I'm going to start looking in advance for a better place Also sorry for no punctuation but I guess Google does not and I use my microphone instead of typing thanks everyone"
"Was treated competently and thoroughly after a horrible experience at Easley Baptist. Staff was very experienced with scared children. Dr explained all procedures quickly and concisely. I hope this hospital can give all patients the level of service I received and pull up their ratings. Dr. Gerac was our physician ."
"Thank you to the doctors at Greenville memorial children’s hospital! We left today with more questions than we had answers! I loved the answer of “it’s probably viral”, when I asked what was causing my child’s lymph nodes to swell so much he couldn’t bend his neck forward. Or when I asked if it could be an autoimmune disease and you said “yes, probably”. I think my favorite was when you said, “you guys should be good to be discharged, we’re not concerned.” Well sorry. I am. I am a very concerned mother. My baby could not move his head back and forth and all I was told was that all of his lymph nodes were really swollen, but his test came back fine.. why were they that swollen if his test were fine? Why did y’all not do a viral panel? I had to practically beg, just for “me to feel better” about the situation. Why was it that I was there Wednesday night and the doctor came in the room, looked at him from across the room and just said “he looks fine”, just for us to be admitted Saturday night. So many “whys” and no answers."
"Nurse's are great, they're very nice and caring. But my main problem is the food, its not that the food is bad, but my mom has been in the hospital for 2 weeks waiting on my baby sister to be born and lately everytime either the food is served late, the food is frozen, the food isn't right, etc. So now we talked to dietary, and me and my parents were told that they would do something if anything happens again. And something happened again, so we called dietary but it goes straight to voicemail. So I dont know whats going on with this hospital but they need to either hire better people or do something to make things better."
"Our stay on the 5th floor for my daughter's post surgery complications was more than exceptional. The doctors together worked diligently to find the issue with her. Our nurses were fantastic also! Thank you, Cassidy and Erin! You two are a blessing! While the situation was stressful, you made her very happy and your concern and care for her was the best part of our stay!"
