"We have been working with our counselor Kathy Munro now for a little over 2 months here at GA Outreach. We were hesitant about counseling to begin with so finding someone who easily became a space of reflection, understanding and healing, has been one of the many benefits. Her honest approach and tools have become the gateway to a healthier relationship within ourselves and each other. We have utilized Kathy’s professional skills for martial counseling but can very easily see how individuals would experience the same depth and care as we have felt through our work together. Needless to say, highly recommend."
"Pam is best. The. Best. She listens and she has wisdom and she genuinely cares. It is a profoundly safe and peaceful environment. I recommend her to anyone that is struggling. She is very nonjudgmental and very kind. I’ve been working with her for four years now and the amount of damage that has been processed and studied and healed is immense. I know that it’s my recovery and my journey and me doing the work, but I needed a guide to lead me out of the airliner wreckage and she has guided me safely every step of the way. 10/10 wish I could recommend her to friends and family but it’s against hipaa I think."
"My appointments are typically later in the afternoon and so there are not many people waiting and no one is behind the desk. I don't mind one bit because I get to work with my therapist with scheduling before or after the session. Overall, my sessions a timely, well run and I work with a caring and professional person. Couldn't be much happier for a first timer."
"I started using this facility because my original group stopped taking my insurance. I used them for both psychiatrist and psychology services. The psychologist was very good the front office as well. The psychiatrist out the nurse practitioner that they use are completely incompetent. I have been under psychiatrist care for 15 years and have seen a number of psych MD. I am also in the medical industry as a practitioner, and I have never had such completely inept care the last NP that I saw could not do anything on her on nor did she know anything about the meds in which I was on. She had to use a drug guide and text her " medical director who never responded. I asked to be put on the EXACT same Rx as I was on from my last MD and she said umm? I don't know if I can do that then a few hours later called me back and left a message that said I can't do what you are asking for so we will refer you to another MD so that I can go and pay for a new office visit and he can bill me for a initial visit and make me come back. Do not use they people for you Rx needs as if you are not medically inclined they could really do you a disservice. If you need psychology Pam is amazing and I would definitely refer her. So....I called the new group they referred me to. They had no idea who I was out why I was referred. So I called back. I some with a guy that was"going to call me". Oh let me look into this let me........ So he calls back and says the following. The NP you saw discussed your case with our medical director and said that you would not agree at any other treatment protocol other than what you wanted. Well the problem with that is that the NP didn't know what else too offer me so she just assumed that I would not agree to any other treatment plan. So if you know anything about medicine it anything about assuming, you know that they are not ever good in a medical setting. So again the staff has completely failed to provide any further of treatment based an in assumption. However if u would like to come back and pay for another office visit they would be willing to try to figure something out. Well I am in Macon and start a new job on Monday in Atlanta is there any chance you could video conference since Pam offered to do that is need but as luck would have it again this is not an option for me. In summation these people stink unless you want to use Pam. I will continue to update this post as long as can to keep as many people as I can to please use someone else for psychiatrist services. I'd you just need a psychologist then Pam is amazing,. All else please stay away."
"I have received excellent treatment at this location over the past 6 months for depression resulting from a chronic pain condition; I have seen significant improvement in my quality of life as a result of this treatment. The staff has been very friendly and has been consistent in being flexible and accommodating in terms of scheduling. The same goes for the specific counselor I am seeing, Ashley Richbourg, who I can not recommend enough. If you are experiencing any issues of a similar nature or one you believe she may be able to help with, I strongly suggest you give her and this location a chance."
