"Our boat experienced an oil pressure sensor failure 24 miles NE of Charleston, SC on the ICW. We were referred to Tony and his crew from Toler's Cove Marina (Kevin Austin). We got in touch with Tony and he talked me through some basic tests and also how to ensure the transmission/prop shaft was secured. After we were towed in (Tow Boat US - Bob), Tony assured me he had the part and would replace the sensor the following morning. It's now 11am and the repair was completed and Tony even copied the ECM data for the engines and will email it to me. Superior service, can do attitude, and timely! Tony dropped everything to assist us in getting on our way. We are overwhelmed with such great customer care!"

"Tony and his team are great. My wife and I were making our annual pilgrimage from Maine to Florida and running outside on a nice flat day when just 20 miles outside of Charleston the thermostat on one of my CAT C-12s suddenly jumped to over 200 degrees. Turned on engine room camera and was shocked to see a cloud of steam and coolant everywhere. Limped into Charleston on one engine and immediately started looking for a diesel repair shop. Luck was with me because I called Marine Diesel first and although they were busy on much bigger projects, Tony took pity on a stuck transient and went out of his way to stop by the very next day (I've been boating a long time and hired a lot of diesel mechanics and usually it takes weeks to get a technician out, especially lately). Tony came on board, quickly diagnosed the problem (a broken line in coolant system) and had the new replacement part delivered the next day via overnight mail. Installed part and we did a good sea trial in the harbor. Boat ran great and we are now home in Florida without any further issues. Especially for you fellow transients, if you have any diesel issues, really recommend Marine Diesel in Charleston. They know what they are doing, their prices are fair, and on top of that, Tony and his wife are really nice. I liked them so much that when we head back north in May, I'm going to stop in again and have them do my 1000 hour engine checkups and to the extent possible, wait until then to have any other issues with my engines fixed.
