"This is a horrible place to work as an agent. I was there for about one year and a half barely scratched 2500 a month when I was used to making at least $10,000 per month. Not only that when I decided to leave last week they owe me commissions, but because I was not fully vested, which takes over five years they keep all my commissions that are owed to me, on top of that if I was to incur any chargebacks within the next nine months, they still require me to pay it even though they kept my earnings. This is a disaster please if you are ever approached by a TAG agent. Run away as fast as you can."

"Predatory insurance sales agency, regularly violating Medicare compliance guidelines making outbound phone calls to medicare beneficiaries and switching their insurance. I have experienced this several times with my agency's clients. Just had an 86 year old member today who gave in to the pressure from a TAG phone agent. Her daughter called me to let me know. Will have the member's family file a complaint with CMS. Hope TAG is shut down!"

"I rarely leave reviews although I do read reviews consistently. I was offered a position here and was not originally intending to take it. I really like the lady who was recruiting me. They offered the position for Spartanburg, SC. After mulling it over for a month, I decided to take the plunge. I have never regretted anything more in my life. First of all,, I accepted the position because I thought it would be close to home and I wpuld make even better money than I already had been.. they kept sending me back and forth to places very far like Greenwood or Westminster (over an hour from where I live in Soartanburg!) I was contracted as a 1099 agent yet was constantly being told I could only sell life and not medicare (I came from specializing in medicare) I was being forced to order leads when I was not finished with my current ones, I was not being allowed to use the appointment setting system they had in place and after each day of working they would tell me at 5pm "go home and call 50 people" when they knew I am a single mom to 2 preschool kids. It got so bad that my "trainer/recruiter" started telling me when to wake up in the morning and calling me at 8pm at night. The worst part was the money........ I made 8k a month at my old agency.... I barely even made $500 for a full month at this agency. There was always some excuse why it wasn't paying. It was supposedly the carriers fault one day or it was the systems fault the next... or even worse "you might not get paid for 30 days" I have NEVER had this issue at other agencies. One Wednesday (payday) I had just been so upset that I only got a check for $135 after 40 hours of work and about 8 sales the previous week and that recruiter lady was driving me around in the car bragging about how she was gonna have an 8thousand dollar paycheck that week. Like.... why the af would I be excited for you right now lady? She in particular lied to me so many times and acted totally shocked that I would want to leave. Before I left, I suggested working part time there instead so I could get some bill money rolling back in and she about flipped her lid. Beware of these crazy people. I'm not sure what kind of pharmaceuticals they are on- but must be strong to expect someone to work 40 hours a week, wake up when they say, take phone calls at 8pm, and not get paid for any of it. Even doordash is a better gig than this. I went back to my old agency luckily. Do not work here. If you do, expect to work more than one job to support yourself- they won't tell you that when you get there."

"I was seen by the Assurance Group at 12 noon today and I ask about the gift card I was supposed to get, just for filling out the papers. And Corey told me he was out of the cards, but he would run to Walmart to get more cards, so then I ask Corey how much is the gift card was,and Corey said $5 dollars and I told him that it wasn't worth my time, and then Corey said if I would sit down with him and let him explain it to me, that he(Corey) was the one that was getting the gift card, he could make it $20/$25 that was up to him. So I sit down with Corey for almost 30 minutes.and then I was told by Corey that since I was not purchasing it from him now, that he would only go get a $5 dollar gift card. I then told him to leave and go get my ($5DOLLAR CARD)WELL IT IS NOW 30 MINUTES LATER AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOT THE BIG $5 DOLLAR CARD. THIS IS THE REASON PEOPLE DON'T TRUST COMPANIES LIKE THAT ( THE ASSURANCE GROUP"
