"The stay was great, they always meet the expectations. Due to the holiday week, the room service was basic, hence 4 stars for the service. This is a pet friendly place and my pet was so loved and well treated in here."

"I wish I had the experience of the other reviewers but I didn’t. Very nice hotel & the location was great for what I needed. The room was MUSKY & stink. The remote looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since they purchased the tv, had food crumbs & just filthy. I sprayed lysol on it & used a wipe to clean it. The wipe was black, clearly the housekeepers haven’t touched it unless the last guest was just that nasty and/or ate their breakfast over the remote. The bathroom is very spacious & “clean” for the most part but hair was all over the shampoo bottle. I have a thing about loose hair so that grossed me out. Hopefully the housekeepers are more mindful & pay attention to little details."

"The location was great....short drive over the bridge to downtown Charleston. Unfortunately, the breakfast was awful. They had "sausage" that tasted anything like sausage. The Orange juice was mostly water. Their bananas were bruised. This is all pardonable but the constantly running out of things is not. At one point I was waiting for napkins, milk, syrup, batter, and a banana. Others were also getting irritated. They ran out of napkins 2 days and gave us paper towels from he bathroom as a replacement. Definitely disappointing breakfast on all counts. I doubt I would be open to staying here again."

"Enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hampton! Upon checking in, the staff that greeted us were extremely friendly, and that lasted our entire stay! The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds were actually comfortable and not springy, and the hot water and water pressure were great! Wish I had remembered to take pictures! There are lots of outlets in the room, and every outlet has hdmi ports as well. There is a pool on-site but we did not get around to checking it out."

"Stayed from Wednesday to Friday. No issues checking in. Rooms/beds were clean and comfortable. AC worked great in 95°+ weather. Internet was down, not the hotel's fault (construction down the road cut a cable) and the pool was out of order for repairs. Glad they considered safety, but these things did affect the quality of our stay. Breakfast was pretty standard, but hot & fresh. 24 hr free tea & coffee bar was gold for us caffeine addicts! I do want to give a shout-out to Shemica and Christina, who were so sweet & helpful. They directed us to Shem's Creek for an amazing seafood dinner experience on the waterfront. The grounds were well kept and attractive with old oaks and young palmettos offering a shady place to sit. Great music playing out front. Definitely will return."
