"My sister and I went for a long weekend. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice. The breakfast was the usual breakfast but there was plenty of food and room to sit. The location was perfect for us. We will stay here again."

"We only needed to stay one night, but it was marvelous! We rented the king room with bunk beds, and my family of 5 fit super comfortably with plenty of open space to play as well! My toddlers loved having dinner at their little kids table. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, we almost missed breakfast! Which, by the way was super delicious and so clean. The pancake robot machine was so fascinating. The shower fit myself and my 3 tiny dayghters with so much more space inside and it was so nice and comfortable. I loved the complimentary soap and shampoo, they weren’t generic at all! We also took advantage of the on site little store pantry which is well stocked with a variety of snacks. It’s also in a magnificent location! 20 minutes to downtown Charleston, 10 to Walmart! My ONLY complaint is it’s cable only, not a smart tv which is very disappointing when traveling with kids who watch Cocomelon to fall asleep. Overall, I will 100% use this hotel again!! I’m soooooo happy!"

"• We stayed Sunday night over winter break in December 2023 (Christmas Eve). • Location was a little annoying as you couldn’t make left turns when leaving. You had to make a right and go down and u-turn. • Young lady at front desk checking us in went above and beyond. Super nice and answered all our questions. Even offered to open the pool for us even though it was cold outside. In the end our kids decided they didn’t want to go in. • There was no special perk for being a rewards member like at some other locations. • Luggage carts only had the small rollie ones so we had to either take 2 carts or make multiple trips. • We got room 303. It was all the way at the end of the hallway. • Did notice that one of the elevators had a out of order sign on. It did take a while sometimes as we waited for elevator especially when we were moving luggage in and out. • Room was decently clean. Did find opened contact packet hiding under all the towels in the bathroom that didn’t belong to us. • Shower looked amazing, large with glass shower door instead of curtain and interesting drain design, but then very disappointed with the water pressure in the shower head. It’s same as last few Holiday Inn Express & Suites we’ve stayed at but for whatever reason the water pressure was so low it ruined the showering experience. It was acceptable as it got everyone clean. Wife did enjoy the provided makeup towel. • Breakfast was a little lacking. Not sure if it was because it was Christmas morning or something. There were no biscuits and gravy which is usually available at every other Holiday Inn Express & Suites we’ve been to (over a dozen). They also had a place for the cinnamon buns but there were not available and no yogurts. The milks which are usually individual containers were instead gallon jugs. • Overall was a good stay and would stay again if we were driving through."

"The front desk staff was great, breakfast was good, the room was great but I was very disappointed in the housekeeping staff. I had some new expensive makeup disappear on our second day here. I searched every inch of the room to no avail. The door was locked when we left and when we returned. The makeup didn’t just walk away!"

"My husband and I stayed one night prior to cruising. I was very impressed with this property. The front desk staff was friendly and kind. We were welcomed with fresh baked cookies and infused water upon arrival. Our room was ready, clean and very comfortable. The amenities in the bathroom were all Dove products and included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand soap. The room was spacious. There was a comfortable chaise lounge. The bed was very comfortable. I tend to be very picky when it comes to hotel rooms. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you IHG for a spectacular guest experience!"
