"Went to the ER and got diagnosed with a potentially life threatening condition. ER said to get the VA to give me a referral to a Urologist and a follow up appointment. VA denied me the referral and wants to schedule me for an appointment in August. Its January right now. Ill be dead by then. Thanks guys."
"This place is absolute hell! From the rude girl I spoke to on the phone to the level of care I have received at this facility. I have no idea how a lot of these people even get hired into these jobs. This is the absolute worst facility I have ever been to in any state I have lived in. My health has declined significantly since being assigned to the Greenville VA. I am a Priority Group 1 veteran, which I was always told we are supposed to be scheduled within 30 days, and if they can’t meet that then you must be sent to Community Care. I have not seen my Primary Care doctor in almost a year. She kept canceling my appointment and rescheduling it. If I had a question, she would call me at almost 11pm at night on a No Caller ID number days later sometimes a week later when I sent the question at 7am in the morning. How inconsiderate and disrespectful can you be to call someone at 11pm at night for anything other than reporting a death. My family doesn’t even call me that late. I asked if I could be seen out in town by a doctor and they be my Primary Care, and Dr. Roundtree at the VA said I could not go to someone out in town, and she immediately put in a request for me to be transferred to someone else at the VA immediately cancelling my appointment with her that I have waited months for. Had she not done that, I would’ve been seen in the next three weeks. So now I am assigned to a new doctor and that will make it over a year since I will be seen by a Primary Care doctor. The appointment is not until late July. I absolutely DO NOT recommend Dr. Roundtree to anyone. I did not feel confident in the level of care I received the entire time I was assigned to her. I am surprised I’m not dead at this point being in her care. She gets a big fat zero from me. It’s sad that veterans have served their country honorably, and we come home and the level of care we receive is absolutely disgraceful."
"At this point the rating is 3.1 stars from the public. I wouldn't eat at a restaurant with just 3.1 stars. But .. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it there but I never had a problem getting care there. Staff were good to me and my father. The phone number listed on Google for the Greenville VA Clinic has a local area code but connects to an automated system based out of Columbia. One day I was looking to get lab work done and the system said it would be open on a Saturday at such and such times. So I went, only to be confronted by very unfriendly security guard. Please remind security that we veterans are not typical public people so please don't act like street cops when engaging us. Also please improve the phone system."
"Worse VA Clinic I have ever been to, my health has just been getting worse I see a doc 2 times a year and it's aways a different doctor that don't know my history so they need re do test all over again so I never advanced just my health gets worse. I have been struggling to get my Handicapped form filled out for almost a year now. It is crazy to even get the right medicine, which is a struggle or to get seen and get results."
