"Dr Mahany and his team are fantastic . . . To say that my mother's Chihuahua is not a friendly dog would be like saying hell can be a little uncomfortable. Jeff and the staff at Island Veterinary Clinic are very patient and do a great job at keeping my crazy mom and her equally crazy dog happy. "Lilly" was banned from her two previous clinics so my fingers are crossed that Jeff will continue to treat her despite the unfettered aggression this animal consistently displays. "We are loyal clients of Dr. Mahany's vet. We love his staff and Dr. Mahany is super kind to our pets and has always been an excellent doctor. As well as willing to work us in at the last minute for unexpected pet issues. We will not use any other vet in town."

"Dr. Mahany is wonderful! However, the staff that answer the phones and check you in are some of the rudest people. I am put on hold every time I call, which is fine. But then, they either never come back on the line or I get hung up on. A friend was picking up a prescription for my dog (that I'd paid for over the phone)- she was in the area and just wanted to check if it was ready. The lady that was at the desk snapped at her and told it was not ready and someone should have relayed that information to her before she just showed up. Needless to say, she is new to the area and has chosen to take her dog elsewhere. Again, the Vets and the Vet Techs are wonderful and very flexible. The other staff could take a lesson in customer service."
