"This place is completely unprofessional. Susan specifically is completely unprofessional. I do not live in this complex myself but I know multiple people who do and I am fed up with how this complex treats people especially today. My 3 month old daughter was at my mothers place, her GRANDMOTHER. And Susan said that she can’t be there because it’s a liability. So you mean to tell me a baby can’t be at her grandmothers house with her grandma or her aunts ? She has never stayed the night there she’s only there for a couple hours. Susan makes up her own rules and I’ve heard this from so many tenants who live here it’s a shame. Her employees are afraid to work under her and don’t even agree with her actions."
"Horrible place to live. Can’t make a noise, can’t have family come visit for more then a month. I got evicted for helping a family member who had a major surgery. I had all proof of his lease and mail. Susan refuses to let you speak to corporate. At court she laughed at my children and I when they stated I had to leave in 30 days because she refuses to renew my lease."
"This is the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered. The 24-hour maintenance team is so disrespectful when you call. He showed up clearly under the influence of something and smoked a cigarette right in my doorway. Susan runs both complex and refuses to let you speak to corporate. The neighbor's downstairs have had roaches for months and management refuses to preventively treat my apartment because I have not seen any roaches yet. They just do not seem to care about tenants or their families. The apartments aren't bad, but the washer and dryers are also so outdated we never used them and went to the laundry mat. Treatment from management and maintenance there is just not right. The lack of respect for tenants is disgusting. -Good luck."
"The apartments are large, and have mostly open layouts. The hardwood floor has so much shellac over it it looks dirty, it’s difficult to clean and looks thick over the hardwood. There were mice and bugs for each season. The neighbors are noisey and disrespectful of their surroundings. People will leave their children’s toys all around the premises and don’t seem to care about being neighborly. The office when called about bugs and mice gave keys to pest control without letting me know when they were coming and they just barged into the apartment without even knocking. Since I worked nights at the time I was scared awake to a man in my home when I was sleeping alone at home! The apartment is so terribly insulated it cost over $400 one month in winter to heat the whole place, then the heater broke and needed to use space heaters instead. They’re too expensive and include nothing. The laundry facility are only open during certain hours and would often need to use 24 hour laundromats to get wash done. The bedrooms are huge. The bathroom is a good size. Kitchen is oddly layer out but works. There are some pluses but I wouldn’t live here again if it was the last place available in Latham. The location is great also great. Doesn’t make up for other issues. There are cheaper, better places nearby, With quieter neighbors."
"History of bad reviews. Don’t rent here. I’m a Navy veteran with Honorable discharge who make 1,000/mo without working. With working 300-600/week.Atending Maria college for my masters degree. Single mom with support animal. I have Sec8. I was denied living here by leasing agent because I make too little of income, yet I have sec 8 to help me with the rent and I’m a full time student and single mom. If you are a minority struggling and almost at your breakthrough to success do not give this place a chance to live here to become your higher self. The day you are making good money after completion of your degree make sure to route people to the apartments who took you in when you were homeless. Make sure to write bad reviews for the apartments who discriminate you on your comeup and good reviews on the apartments that helped you to pave a way. Make sure to thank your Sec 8 case workers for being the proof you need you in court for any past landlord who made false claims against you. Most of all thank God for making a way out of no way. Stay away from this place and find you a community that cares about providing homes for disadvantaged people."
