"Hi I’m a current resident and will not recommend living here especially in building 39 apartment 5F. First, there is a KAREN couple living in 4F, please take it serious!. Moved in December 6 2022, and on the same day , KAREN downstairs (4F) knocks at my door saying “ just want to welcome you to the building, and to let you know we live downstairs”. December 7 kAREN downstairs files a complain for loud noise. Noise from barely walking in my apartment. My daughter was 10 months old and could barely walk. December 8 KAREN bangs at my door again to confront my wife for walking in the apartment and my wife slams at the door. December 24 , KAREN slots a letter underneath my door. Between December 7 and February 16 KAREN had put in over 8 nuisance report to the building for walking In my apartment. I reckon I had not installed carpet on the floor then but was working to install them. Fun fact, KAREN had never met me, but had met just my wife who is what they called “White”. February ending, carpets had been installed but they weren’t aware yet KAREN called the cops on a Saturday at 11:30 am for walking in the apartment. Cops arrived and heard no noise from the apartment, knocked at my door and explained, then left. Mediation later organized in May by “Landlord and legal department “ which Karen couple in the mediation finally met me and realized I was “Black” and apologized saying “ they would never want to call the cops on a black man”. How racist can that be? So you called the cops on your neighbors upstairs because they are white ? After mediation, we exchanged numbers and Karen kept texting me every single time we walk even after carpets have been installed especially on weekends at 8am and 10 am. August 13, Karen messaged me at 10:45 am because I was walking in the apartment and I asked them never to text me again. Now Karen are back to putting in nuisance reports. Now aside from the Karens at 4F, the management , especially the landlord and his legal teams don’t care! I have called many times and the Secretary to the legal team is very rude. The floor at apartment 5F isn’t hard Wood. Perhaps reason why Karen downstairs still hear footsteps when we walk. However, the landlord is aware of this but they decide to put both tenants into a fight. I have checked other apartments on same floor and they all have hardwood and with no carpets. Last month, landlord called me and asked if I would be open to move to another apartment in the same building. What for ? For the next person who will get into this apartment, pay attention to this and do not be intimidated by those downstairs, they’ve got no life. For all the stress my family and I have gone through this last 1 year in this apartment, the landlord can do better than this and install hardwood floor. Please be aware, if you live on the top floor in this building, u literally have no saying if your neighbor downstairs put in a report against you. U are automatically at fault as the so called legal department and landlord don’t want to hear your own side of the story. Please take this serious! Again, even after I installed carpets, my closet can’t open to the fullest, my doors can’t open and I have put in request to get that checked but the response was that they can’t trim the closet doors or fix the doors. Well if y’all had taken that into consideration during renovation and possibly installing carpet by yourself, we wouldn’t have been in this situation. Lastly, the building is pet free, but that’s a lie, as many tenants have pets."
"I have requested a month with my application and they do not respond, the rooms are rented to whoever the people of the office wants, when you get to the office they just tell you that they are not available and on Zillow and the Harbor House app they are listed. The office phones are never answered, I hope someone above them can see this comment, really terrible service, is it fair that they only rent the apartments to whoever they want!?"
"We loved living at the apartment. This was by far the best rental experience we have ever had. I must personally thank the maintenance staff and the security staff for their constant professionalism and service. My daughters cried as we left for the last time."
"Update: Management did reach out to me to reconcile so I completely appreciate that. I am on the hunt for a 2 bedroom apartment and saw that they had a self tour option which I loved! I visited 2 buildings for my self tour and while I love the fact that everything is renovated and there is more than enough closet space throughout - there were clear differences. For one; the 1st building I entered had upgraded ac units whereas the 2nd one didn’t. The 1st building however the Lobby reeked of an odor. Unfortunately my biggest drawback, wasn’t the 2nd bedroom being really small, but the fact that there were dead roaches in the bathroom and live roaches crawling in and out of the dishwasher, and fridge. That clearly shows there is an issue that needs to be handled. It was terrible That I had to see that but that’s why I always open all appliances while on an apartment tour and look up and all around."
"I have been a resident for 8+ years. It’s a very nice complex that offers beautifully renovated modern apartments The grounds are well kept and beautifully maintained. My recent experience with maintenance to have my dishwasher replaced went smooth and the installation was fast and easy. Thanks for the hard work all around by the on-site Maintenance Team."
