"I celebrated my one year anniversary, March 2019. Because i have a part time job, i can afford to live here. if it weren't subsidized, i could still afford it, but, because i qualify, i am getting a good bargain. Nice location, well maintained grounds, good staff. I rent an efficiency apartment, it is good for myself because, i am single. I have the space and most importantly, privacy. Prior to living here, i rented a room for 18 years, yes, there is a bigger and better advantage of living here, paying about the same price, monthly. I have no complaints, i wish the tenants were more social but, other than that, thank you, for giving me an opportunity of being a resident at, 400 E. Main Street, Batavia, New York. Update I celebrated my 5 year anniversary March 1, 2023."
"The Best at providing what in a tenants intent MATCHES; allowing the best Living Home POSSIBLE"
"This is a great place to live. My efficiency apartment had a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The walls had fresh paint and the floors, new carpeting. You have three large closets plus a storage cage down the hall. You don’t have to go outside with your garbage, which is great. Each floor has a garbage chute and recycling bins. There is also beautiful oak tables with four chairs, and two other easy chairs located on each floor in a common area. Each floor has ten apartments. I never hear noise in my apartment. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. Downstairs on the main floor, you will find a small store staffed by volunteer residents. You can buy anything from snacks to stamps. The mailboxes are located down there, all opened by a key. There is also common areas, a tv room, community rooms and a kitchen. There are meals prepared by a resident three days a week. If you choose to purchase the meals, they run from $3.00 - $3.50. You can eat in the Community Room, take them to go, or even get them delivered. Now, that’s quite a service! Our office staff is personable, friendly, and very helpful. Our maintenance staff is one of the best I have seen anywhere! They keep this whole complex spotless! Should you need maintenance, they are at you apartment within minutes. Having just spent my first winter here, I must applaud everyone involved in the day to day operations here. I was always nice and warm in my apartment and throughout the complex. The parking lots and sidewalks were clean through out all the storms we had. They do an excellent job with snow removal. There is also a laundry facility in each tower that is always spotless. You never have trouble getting a machine even with the number of residents we have. All of the residents are friendly and kind. There are people here of all ages, from 20 something on up. It’s a great place to live!"
"Really hope I get in! Would be an amazing opportunity for me. I've been in the building only twice but it looks like it has a great community. Everyone seemed friendly and said hello. The staff seem pretty nice. The grounds look very beautiful and you cannot beat the location and the amenities. I'm really glad people have access to 400 Towers for living. People like me tend to thrive better in buildings where you can see familiar faces and partake in opportunities you wouldn't normally have ease of access to in a regular residence. Just glad to see a place like this available for the community."
