"New owners are greedy and financially predatory. New fees have been invented and are lumped into rent with minimal notice, grace periods shortened to the minimum they have to allow by law, no consideration. People are terrified of rent increases that are coming. Consistent, reliable tenants are being harassed and incurring fees and fines that didn't exist two months ago. Apartments are not glamorous, built in the 70's with many vintage features from that era because they haven't been updated and are just that old. Walls are thin. Inadequate parking near apartments. Staff has always been great, but they seem to be suffering from this change as well. The owners have the advantage: Barrington apparently now owns 75% of the rental properties in town. Their greed is unchallenged."

"I've been living here for 7 years now. Friendly office and maintenance staff. Nice apartments for a cheap price. There is a play ground for the kiddos. You're also around the corner from the park."

"The operators seem incapable of keeping business business, and resort to getting involved in petty politics between neighbors. It was clear the entire time i lived there than they liked the neighbor more, for basically no reason. They then sent me a bill 2 months after I moved out for $2.32. Petty is the name o the game with these people."
