"Rooms were okay. Bathrooms somewhat dated. I give 5+ stars for the staff who coped superbly with a big influx due to the storm and blizzard conditions."
"I've stayed there twice. Summer of 2021 and 2022 Both years the pool was closed for renovations. Thru do have a fitness center though, and it is adequate. The rooms are alright, but they took the normal heavy curtains out, so now when the sun comes up it shine in your face. As for breakfast, they offer a lot, but don't pay attention to when anything runs out, and sometimes things are missing for days before items are replaced. At least it's almost a straight shot off the highway"
"Having used Holiday Inn Express as well as other IHG hotels....this was a huge let down. Pool closed....no where did it advertise the pool was closed. We had two teenage girls that had been in the car for hours. Part of the reason we chose this place was the pool. When I asked the front desk....the employee told me I should have called to see if pool was open. Reserved a King Suite like we do at almost all our stays. This was not a king suite. There was no difference between a standard room and this so called suite. I politely inquired. I was told was wrong and this is how all king suites are. Unbeknownst to him, we were in a HIE king suite the prior week. An actual suite. Dirty room. Stained mattress on pull out. Hospitality has all but vanished from this hotel."
"I paid over $230 in September to stay here on a long commute back from the East Coast. Floor was dusted with crumbs and my socks turned black from the floor that hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. To top that off the toilet didn't flush and the air conditioner wasn't working very well. The best thing the clerk could do at the front was to either give me $20 off or get me another hotel 2 hours away. . ."
"Pool was closed. Supposedly for broken glass. But nobody was working on cleaning it the whole time we were there. That was a key reason we chose the hotel. We like to swim. Only one representative checking people in. We were 3rd in line and spent 30 mins waiting. They were doing some renovations in part of the hotel. A lot of areas need some maintenance. The side entry door was practically off the hinges. Breakfast looked good. Hot foods, bagels, fresh fruit. Rooms were clean. Bathroom floor super slick with just a little water on it. No place to hang towels near shower so you have to walk across floor wet."
