"That whole place needs a make-over!! Nothing but addicts & drunks there. The place has roaches & bed bugs!!"
"I have to say there were a bunch of undesirable people at the end of the rooms in the back.I went to visit family in their room they were taunting my family member and then proceeded to call me names when getting out of my vehicle. The people also came over to my vehicle and started looking in my car.I went outside to sit and they started the name calling again.2 stars stands."
"I had to stay at this motel for a few months when I was really struggling and I can honestly say that sleeping outside would of probably been better. I paid $500 a month to stay in a small, run down room. From the moment I walked into the room, I was annoyed. There was mold in the bathroom, there were cracks in the walls in the bathroom, the pipe under the sink was held to the wall with toilet paper shoved around it, needless to say it was horrible. There was a moldy rag on the towel rack when I moved in, which was disgusting. Within a week, one of the four usable outlets in room broke. I told the owner I had cats and they never mentioned anything about a pet fee and only told me that one the day I was moving out, so I had to pay an extra $150 dollars. The neighbors were very rude and would bang on my door at all hours of the night for no reason. The landlords refused to fix anything, even when I told them we had MOLD in the bathroom. My final week at that hell hole was spent in at Red Roof Hotel, because the power would not work and they refused to fix it(this is when there was snow on the ground and it was freezing in the room because of not having power). I do not recommend this place at all, its not worth it. They landlords always acted like they were better than my boyfriend and I, very rude people. Stay somewhere else if you can."
"What a dump! If I saw the room before I paid I would have walked away. The place was filth and smelled like an ashtray. The lamp on the nightstand didn't work. The TV didn't work. I had to ask for toilet paper. The owner brought in towels which were dirty. The bathtub was filthy and the wall was cracked. The window were cracked but did have clear tape over the cracks. The bed sheets didn't fit right. The place seems to be the permanant home to a number of shady looking characters. At 9:00 PM I decided that I couldn't stay there and was lucky enough to book a room at another motel close by which was ultra-clean and comfortable. The Sunset charged me $70 which was not refunded. The motel that I subsequently booked cost $74 with tax. Do yourself a favor did dont even think of staying at the Sunset."
"The motel met our travelling need for 1 night, but I would avoid it on the future. The ac was falling apart. I got it working, but it was noisy. There were liquor bottles in a drawer. Nice folks in the office."
