"The CNY Asset Team managed my multi-unit property for 5 years. This local business has A-Z services, and maintains a personal touch. Great location. When it came time to sell my property Sean provided Pro bono advice despite the sale being by owner. Professional."
"As a tenant, we have had a good experience renting with them. Sean is a good guy and does his best to make things right with you. Any maintenance requests have been fulfilled in a timely manner and the guys they send out are good people. We live in a nice neighborhood and pay a very fair rate for rent. We have been here going on 3 years and take care of the home like it's our own. They have a convenient app for submitting maintenance requests and paying rent as well. They hooked us up with a new dryer when ours broke and fixed any minor maintenance issues we've had. House was freshly painted when we moved in, and they also got us remote garage door openers that we're not there originally. Sean let us extend our lease month-to-month after the original one-year lease, to help us out as we are in the process of buying our own home. Something not many landlords are willing to do! Can't speak for every property/tenant, but this is just the experience that we've had."
"I had a 9:45 AM showing and when I showed up I rang the bell, knocked on the door, and called the realtor multiple times after a few minutes went by with no response. Nothing. So I showed up to the office and just waited a few minutes, hoping to run into someone who can show me the house. Eventually, someone (I think either Kevin or Sean) shows up and I explain the situation to him and tell him I was there, nobody showed up, and I wasn't able to see the house. He insists that he *was* there and that *I* was the one who never showed up. When I showed him proof that I called two separate phone numbers (the one on Google and the one that was given when I confirmed my booking) he told me his phone was dead and that "phones die sometimes". When I told him he should have been on the porch or somewhere visible so he could get in touch with a prospective tenant who was coming to look at the house, he got EXTREMELY upset and called me aggressive, began swearing, and told me he wasn't going to show me the house. I immediately got up and began to leave because of his erratic and aggressive behavior and he jumped out of his seat and began to chase me out while still screaming at me. Kevin is extremely dangerous and aggressive towards women and creates an extremely unsafe environment on top of not showing up to showings and ultimately treating prospective tenants in extremely horrific ways. Overall, I would not recommend anyone rent from this space or even go to a showing as it is not a professional (let alone safe) environment. He seems like the kind of person who would put his hands on a woman who calls him out on his lies, even at his workspace. I can't believe that they just let him get away with acting like that."
"I find it ironic that the most negative reviews from the tenant side of this business complain about failure to show up and fix anything. From an owners perspective, I can tell you Sean Corcoran has no qualms whatsoever over helping himself to my rent money while claiming to be fixing things. Most recently I was charged for a new screen door, and the labor for the installation. I drove by the property a week later (since the tenant didn't respond to my email inquiry), and I saw the same screen doors that were there when I moved out in 2015. I've always found his lack of communication upsetting but this seems like outright thievery. If you are a rental property owner looking for someone to manage your asset, I could not give Sean Corcoran and CNY Asset Management a lower recommendation. Save yourself the hassle. I'm not saying flat out that SEAN CORCORAN IS A LIAR AND A THIEF, but if he were a liar and a thief, it would look a lot like what I experienced. So, I fired him. I wish I'd done it sooner."
"Sean and his team have managed my property for a little over two years. I moved my business to CNY Asset Management from another company and the transition was smooth and seamless. Sean notified the tenant and took care of all the necessary paperwork. When I have had to contact them, they have always been professional and quick with replies to any questions or maintenance requests I submitted. If you are just getting into rental properties or looking to change property managers, I suggest you give CNY Asset Management a call!!"
