"Visited Xi’an Famous Food many time in the past few years (not limited to this location) and ordered hand-pulled noodles every time. Consistent quality/taste with affordable price. I got the spicy cumin lamb hand-pulled noodles and sour haw berry drink this time. The hand-pulled noodles texture is the best past to my opinion. It is like to get their drink to pair the food. I have Regular spicy for the noodles, it is more numbing and spicy (recommend to go for extra spicy if you like the heat). Oil might look scary but it is not that hot. (Selected less oil but still a lot). Quite messy to eat and need to be aware of splashing oil to your clothes and jacket. This location is very new, clean, and have many seatings, only down side is there is no hooks or space for jackets or bags."
"I got the traditional Spicy cumin lamb noodles. The dish had a good amount of their chili oil sauce on it, so be prepared for the spice level (I got the normal/regular amount which felt perfect). Don’t forget to order a water at the kiosk because they don’t have free water/restaurant cups to drink with."
"The pictures look a lot better than the food actually tastes. The noodles were incredibly heavy and lost their appeal pretty quickly. The dumplings had a weird taste to them too and were hard to keep down. The seasoning on everything wasn’t great either. We didn’t finish anything that we ordered. I wouldn’t come back here."
"We ordered the spicy and sour lamb dumplings, stewed pork hand ripped noodles, spicy cumin lamb hand ripped noodles. The noodles are hand pulled by the chef and was very springy. The pork were stewed and very tender, so the noodles dishes were absolutely stunning. The spicy noodles can be a bit spicy (like mala) so be prepared if you order it. The dumplings were not the most exciting though. The fillings were generous, but it was outshined by the noodles Card machine was down, so we had some struggle with cash unfortunately"
"I recently visited Xi'an Famous Foods and I got to say it was a great spot for a quick meal. The highlight of the meal was the dumpling in a spicy hot oil - it was amazing! The Chinese hamburger was also good, but when I dipped it into the hot oil it was even better. The restaurant was clean and the iced tea was also very refreshing. The ordering process is done through a kiosk which was convenient. Highly recommend!"
