"Got takeout from here a couple of times and it was delicious, so we thought we'd found our new go-to place. But the most recent time we ordered... The food was over an hour late, and the saag paneer just didn't have any paneer in it? It was just spinach? Pretty disappointing, so that will be our last time ordering from Anar."
"Just had an absolutely delicious lunch at Anar. Plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and meat options for whatever your diet preference may be. My 7-year old daughter got a mango lassi, we shared vegan pakoras (very tasty with spinach, onion, potato and lots of warm spices), she had a chicken tika tali lunch and I had Chana saag. I can’t speak to the chicken (she liked it) but the chana saag was very tasty and a perfect texture (not soupy or watered down and the chick peas were nice and firm). The tali lunch specials come with a generous portion of basmati rice, delicious yellow dal (nice and garlicky), a delicious mixed vegetable (carrots, peas, green beans, and lots of vibrant spices), and warm naan. The naan contains dairy (eggs and milk in the batter) so I didn’t eat that but it smelled great and was warm and fluffy. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoyed Indian food or simply flavorful food in general. They made the chicken tiki very mild and my daughter said it wasn’t spicy at all!"
"The samosa chaat ALWAYS hits, and the paneer tikka masala is so good (a bit on the sweeter side). Regular naan and garlic naan both are incredible, and the chai is a solid 7/10. AND it’s halal!!!"
"The baingan bharta curry (smoked eggplant) was delightful and full of flavors with right amount of spices served with fluffy basmati rice on the side. The garlic naan was hot and crispy and held together when coupled with curry & rice. Vegetable samosa was perfectly fried and the sauces were light and tangy. My friend ordered a soup and lamb saag and shared positive reviews. Attentive and friendly service. We arrived at 5:30pm and the place filled up quickly. Would definitely come back when in the area!"
"I was excited by the reviews and they didn't disappoint. A cute little corner restaurant, cozy and tasty. The staff were really friendly and each dish we ordered was fresh and light. The Navratan Korma was not as heavy and oily like most places I've had it and the rest in my party enjoyed their meals as well stating the same. Will be back again!"
