"Honestly the Malaysian curry was not great. The curry was week. It did not have the richness or the strong flavor I was hoping for. The coconut drink was the same. And it was all ice. 3 sips and it is empty. The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant is spacious with sophisticated decor. The service here is incredible. Everyone is super friendly and super attentive."
"Pictured (in order): Mee Goreng with Beef $18, Wonton soup $6, Singapore Noodles with Chicken $18, Satay Chicken $10, Chicken Dumpling $9 Rasa is a Malaysian restaurant with authentic dishes. This restaurant is a bit on the pricy side. We opted for the Satay chicken and chicken dumplings as appetizer, the peanut sauce on the Satay chicken was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. For the entrees we got Mee Goreng with beef, this dish had more of a nutty flavor to it, along with the Singapore noodles. These noodles had more spices in them which gave them a very flavorful touch. Lastly we had wonton soup which was small in portion size but the dumplings were delicious. 8/10 Follow our insta: @nyc.halal for more halal food reviews!!"
"Today I took advantage to enjoy my day alone and wanted to try something that I have yet to try before. Malaysian food! The place was cozy and immediately walking in you smell all the amazing spices and food in the air. Everything I had was super flavorful and just the right amount spice for me. As a solo diner I can only have so much food but everything on the menu looked delicious. Next time I definitely want to try the coconut curry or their more traditional dish with the coconut rice and curry chicken. Everything tasted authentic and the Sarawak was light but yet also deeply filling. Can’t wait to be back!"
"Absolutely amazing! The staff is friendly, attentive and just all around great. The food is absolutely delicious. The Singaporean- Indonesian- Halal restaurant is just amazing. The menu has Malaysian and Thai dishes to meet your needs. The menu items are affordable and the portion sizes are perfect. Highly recommend giving this spot a try especially if you’re looking for an authentic experience."
