"Just when we thought the hotel was amazing, we discovered the Cafe Chelsea! We ended up staying on property for several meals here during our stay. The food and service are both spectacular! This place does fill up super fast, so even if you're a guest, I suggest making a reservation. Cheers"
"Always love Cafe Chelsea! The food and service were incredible as always. Despite the busy night they let us sit a little longer (on our 5th cocktail!) before the next reservation arrived. Highly recommend for dates, group nights, or even just a wonderful cocktail at the bar."
"We went for breakfast and ordered soft boiled eggs with toast soldiers. At $12 for two eggs, at a french cafe, they should have been cooked perfectly, yet they came out as hard boiled. The menu says you use the toast soldiers to dip in the egg yolk but that was impossible as you can see in the attached picture. The waitstaff are professional, attentive and friendly, the decor is marvelous, but the food falls way short of what we should expect at the venerable Hotel Chelsea."
"Atmosphere is great!! If you are going during rush hour, be ready for tight seating. We were a group of five seating at corner banquette, it barely fit us, and hard to came out. The distance between tables are really narrow. Other than that, the food and service is good."
"Cafe Chelsea is SO chic! It’s a Parisian style cafe and menu; I absolutely adored it. The servers were professional and so down to earth and cool that it would put any patron at ease. The brunch is simple, but not basic. I love the portion sizes and the matcha latte was top tier. Definitely a place to take anyone you’re trying to impress. A new favorite on my NYC guide."
