UH Rainbow Pediatric Dentistry

"You have to wait over 6 months for the appointment for them to only cancel it less than 24 hours prior to the appointment without notice. I show up to my son's so-called appointment and they act like it's not an inconvenience for me to have to take my son out of school for a day and take off of work for a day to drive all the way to University hospital to be told that there's no doctors in office and all appointments were canceled and they tried to call everyone but didn't have my number but had my number to confirm less than 24 prior. Dental Assistant need to step it up and do their job correctly. And the Dentist in office need to show up for work why make children wait so long not to be seen"

"I'm happy with how the on call dentists are in touch via text & call, confirming and helping assess teeth/gum issues for emergencies. Not pleased with how unresponsive the voice messaging system goes. I've left 3 messages so far & NO RESPONSE. One time before that I felt very lucky I spoke with a live person. I hope that can be resolved. I need someone to call back or just simply do what's been requested!"

"Brought my autistic son to them, they were very considerate of his needs, and our concerns. For the other review talking about the sedation, that's actually pretty common protocol for a young child with multiple cavities needing filled. It tends to be way less emotionally distressful to put them under and do it all at once, then have them come back multiple times over the course of several months."

"Call you ever day for a week confirming your surgery that was scheduled over 3 months ago. Then don't call you yo tell you what time you need to be there or when you can stop eating...what a joke. I have called every on call dr and still nothing back. Need to be shut down and licenses revoked. Poor baby has to keep suffering. Karma will get them. Hope they have to wait 3 months for a life saving procedure."

"So this is a very late review. When my son was 2 (7) now he had an accident and cracked his front teeth horizontally strait across. He also had some rotting teeth after the incident and also while trying to find a practice that did pediatric dental surgery. Long story short, UH came into the fold and they did an amazing job. He was put under anesthesia but the whole team did an amazing job. Firstly, they made my son who has autism extremely comfortable. They checked on my wife and I throughout and calmed her anxiety. And lastly, besides a lil blood and grogginess after my son was perfectly fine."
