"I've had both good and bad experience with ps 118 over 8 yr ago i had the displeasure of encountering a teacher that broke my baby spirit and I had to remove her I'm talking 2nd grade. In doing so my child sore and is now in the 8th grade. Now the good again my other child is in the 2nd grade and attended since 1st grade her teachers are great professional and caring. I've seen my daughter eager to attend school where as before coming from the charter school system she lack that desire The staff I must say is 95% better than before I've always participated in my children education,schools are not daycares and we must be involved in our kids future and don't expect the staff to be what your not."
"PS 118 is the reason why I am a success today. I'll never forget the teachers who treated me as if I was their child. Everybody was thoroughly invested in my education. Mrs. Gill, Principal Armstrong, Guidance Counselor Armstrong, Ms Zimmerman, and Mrs Lamantanero are the strong women who planted the seed in me as a child, and helped me realize my potential as an adult. I'll never forget the time I spent here as a child. I'll always love PS 118."
