"I moved into the neighborhood and I just enroll my child to the school apparently the system failed to process my daughter into the school not early enough for her to go to summer school in order for extra credit for high school. The first day of summer school of 2017 everyone was extremely sarcastic telling her to have a good Summer with every question that she asked in other words not trying to help you go back home. Overall the mean voicemail from the school was recorded back in 2016 with expired information. My husband spoke to the principal he finally got some answers and got an understanding of the situation. I personally don't recommend the school I feel like the only thing the school has is the reputation that one's had which was a very long Time ago I feel like everyone except for the principal is unprofessional and extremely rude and disrespectful also the school is extremely way OVER CROWDED. Which is why is very transparent the frustration of the teachers"
"Dave Thomas founded Wendy's with a vision of serving up a quick meal without cutting any corners. As we continue to grow, we'll always be sure to keep Dave's traditions and legacy in mind. By partnering with the best suppliers in the business, we're able to serve up fresh, Deliciously Different® food every day. But Wendy's is about more than just food. By supporting our employees, we continue to feel like a true family business."
"2 of my children go to Bayside HS and they both have different guidance counselors who seem to do nothing to assist the students. The school puts them in classes that are not needed and that would intentionally bring their grades down or where the teacher's themselves indicate a particular class requires another class as a prerequisite that the student does not have. They also have more students in a lunch period than which would allow everyone ample time for lunch. My son even went to speak with the principal and the secretary stated he was not there while my son could see him in the office. These kids don't seem to have consistent support from their school administration to both keep them on track while at the same time making sure they will succeed."
"I hope Bayside High School is still a great high school. I graduated in the seventies, and feel I got a wonderful education. Even though times have changed, the education provided to me helped me through out my life. I am proud of my public school education!"
"I am a junior and have been in bayside for about 3 years so far. This school has its ups and downs and I recommend that they will push you to your ultimate best in school. At some moments they can be annoying and hard but it's for you. I wouldn't recommend coming to this school because they have a bathroom time limit. 10 before and after students aren't allowed to be in there. Especially when you are going to your next class. They do change the time the schedule sometimes. Last year in 2015 for my sophomore year we had a shorter Wednesday and got out early. No longer we have that. This school changes every year. And you come in a great year or a terrible one. I will say this that the teachers are excellent and great. Guidance counselors will need some work. They are rather difficult and will change your schedule. You could have lunch at 8am and no breaks at all. While others could have 4 breaks (study hall) and lunch in the middle of all it. I would also say if your coming here for Spanish. Do. Not. Do it. You won't get it if your Spanish. Even then it is impossible because EVERYONE wants it. Yes there are smoking there yes by students but I wouldn't worry since it's about you. Don't skip class it will affect you a lot. Like a whole lot. From 1 to 10, this school is a 5.7"
