"We took our 28 day old son in with a fever of 100.6. After a 1 minute evaluation it was determined my son needed to have a sample of spinal fluid drawn and a blood draw. After attempting to draw my son‘s blood eight times almost all of his veins were blown. Part of the issue was the nurse attempted to fill an adult blood draw tube. This meant my son was unable to receive fluids through an IV. To make matters worse, the doctor got blood in the spinal fluid sample, making it useless.I asked repeatedly for all of this to be done by the pediatric team in Peds but was denied!!"
"Same issues as everyone else: I paid my bill AND it cleared my bank in November. I am still getting bills in January saying I owe the money. Last time I spoke to someone from their billing company, they said it takes several weeks to post a payment. That is ridiculous-and it has now been months. You cashed my check! It should have been posted when received. This is the worst run organization ever! Years ago I had the same experience as others with receiveing a bill years later from collections. Dealing with their billing company is a nightmare, and they don't have an office to actually deal with someone here. Update: I was finally able to locate someone in the local office to take care of my issue."
"No one knows what this place is UNTIL THEY GET THE BILL! Pretty sad. I left Moore regional all paid up, or so I thought. A few months later, I get a bill saying that I owe them $750 for services received. Isn't that special? They were unwilling to provide me with an itemized bill or work with me on the bill. Therefore, I am unwilling to pay the bill. It's not unreasonable to be given a detailed explanation. Especially for a large bill. Good luck to anyone that finds themselves weaved in their web."
"All of these reviews are correct prior to mine, and if the star rating could be negative, I would give it as low as it could go. Two years ago I was seen by this company who works in the Emergency Department at Moore Regional hospital. The staff is sure enough friendly, over worked, and sure enough working as a skeleton crew in what appears to be a not so safe environment for patients and staff. My Doctor, Dr. James Lewis at the time cleaned my open joint out after cutting it open with a table saw , splinted it and sent me home for a surgery by an orthopedic surgeon two days later. This is all fine until you get to the billing. I NEVER received a bill from Sandhills Emergency physicians. Instead, TWO YEARS LATER I Received a bill from AR Resources Inc., a collections agency in Florida. After spending a week on the phone being tossed around like a neglected patient I find out that not only was I billed incorrectly, but fraudulently too. To make matters worse, anyone seen by these people between the end of 2018 through March of 2019 have all been billed this way. We all have been sent to collection with NO bill or communication. I tried to get up with Dr. James Lewis, but again billing was through a different company, who sold all of our records to collection. I have envelopes tried to get this issue resolved with the Associate Director of Revenue Cycle Management at First Health of Moore Regional, Gay Green, as well as patient advocates, Donna Atwater, Stephanie Rogers, and K. Elletson I have received zero communication from them after a month. The community has invented in this group of doctors, so has the hospital, but based on this horrendous experience and aftermath, do they have the community in mind or their pockets? I am extremely angered that this was not taken care of correctly two years ago, and is again being swept under the rug. I understand that people make mistakes, but not trying to fix them, not communicating is pure patient neglect. Perhaps a new name of SCAMhills emergency physicians PA is a better name seeing they just do not care about you afterwards."
"All reviews listed are 100% accurate in terms of my experience as well. They ran every test possible, all of which were ran at my OB a week prior with a NORMAL result. Did not discuss any treatment prior to moving forward. Did swabs/labs without consent. When you try to give them a call to ask any questions, if you get through, they are not helpful. Goes to a Voicemail most of the time. Billing is separate from actual office and actual office states they have no control over billing."
