"I have had a great experience with the sales team when I purchased my Lincoln. Unfortunately this rating is reflective of the recent interaction with the service department. I had multiple codes and warnings recently pop up and wanted to have them diagnosed before taking any long trips. It took 3 calls to the service department over 2 days just to reach a service tech and to schedule an appointment. First call was a transfer by the receptionist that resulted in a disconnect. The 2nd got me to the service manager's VM. I left a thorough message. Nearly 24 hours later I had no callback, so I called again. The 3rd call had some failed transfer attempts until a very helpful woman apologized and said she would personally grab a service tech for me. After explaining the issue, the tech said the earliest availability to bring the car in and have it diagnosed was a week from Friday. So 9 days. I locked in the appointment and did very little driving until then since I don't know what could go wrong if I keep driving it. Today was my 8am Friday appointment. When I got there I was asked how long I can leave it with them. I said I had no idea since it hasn't been diagnosed yet. I was then told that they do not diagnose on Fridays!!! WHAT? So why am I here? To leave my car there for 3 days only for it to be ignored until Monday? The service tech said the Friday appointment should not have been scheduled and apologized. He said he would move the appointment to Monday so he doesn't waste my time. Well an hour of my time this morning has already been wasted to drive my vehicle, with multiple error codes, to the dealer and back. Now my weekend out of town road trip will be stressful not knowing how the vehicle will behave."
