"Food was ready fast and hot- that's the good part. Food was bland, all same note and to boot I got sick later- I must have had a bad dumpling or it was the soup I had (my husband did not get sick). Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. LaSalle Dumpling House is much better!"

The Hot and Sour (or Spicy and Sour) soup brought me back to the good old days before hot and sour was just a brown gloppy mess with a few pieces of tofu and loads of slimy mushrooms. The crispy noodles with chicken was a large portion, tasted fresh, and had lots of different vegetables. This could end being a go-to, which is saying a lot in a neighborhood full of better than avg Chinese food."

The chicken and mushroom dumplings in chili sauce are not to be missed. The soup dumplings and Dan Dan noodles are killer too. They also have pea shoots, which are really hard to find on the UWS! And the employees are so, so nice!"
