"I wanted to write a huge thank you to the staff at Tru by Hilton in Spartanburg. I left my iPad in the room and the front desk manager and staff searched for me, finally finding it in the laundry room. They were extremely patient with me and I truly appreciate it!"

"Spend your money elsewhere. We came in for 2 nights for a funeral, our home is currently being remodeled. This is absolutely the worst Hilton. The room was so tiny you could barely turn around. I asked on switching to a bigger room and was informed all rooms was the size. If you are standing at the foot of your bed, you can touch wall in front of you. There is no dresser drawers to put your clothes, the shower door leaked all over the floor, the employee working had a "get over it" attitude, the breakfast was horrible and the eggs were spoiled yet they were still serving them to the guests. I hope I never have to stay in a Tru hotel again. We have never had this experience in other Hilton hotels as we travel for work. Do not recommend at all !! I am currently awaiting a call back from Hilton due to this trip ."

"Currently in a room and can't sleep because the neighbors are being extremely loud or the walls are too thin. I know some people use hotels as vacations but some use it for work as well. Maybe next time this issue will some how be resolved. We just won't get any sleep this time..... very disappointing."

"Not the best choice of restaurants within a short walk, especially after a day of exploring. Lots or road noise and there is only one ice machine. The breakfast was sufficient but was not as good as at other Hilton family of locations. The room I had was on the small size but good enough for a one night stay."

"Our room had a very strong cigarette odor when we arrived. When we notified front desk they did not have any resolution for the problem. An air freshener spray or something would have been helpful. Many breakfast items were missing at 9:30 am, even though breakfast did not conclude until 10 am. When asked for breakfast item, was told they were out of food... Also, no pool at this location. I'll try Hampton Inn next time."
