Super 8 by Wyndham Spartanburg/I-26 Exit 22

"This is the NASTIEST place I have EVER been to!!!!! I should have read the reviews first!!! I was there 2 hours before I left. I killed 3 gnats and 2 roaches, and that was enough. The floors were filthy. Had dried food and candy on them. The sheets were dirty. I thought they were just stained at first but when I pulled back the covers, there was hair and a piece of a leaf under the cover on one bed. I couldn't sleep there!!!!! I got the room onine but had to give a refundable deposit when I got there. When I asked for my deposit back the guy didn't even ask why. They know that place is nasty and that's all some ppl can get or ppl get it online and don't know what they're getting into AND they won't refund what u pay for the room. So they're not gonna do better because leave or stay, they've got your money! And the roaches are staying for free! I can't say enough, don't stay at this disgusting place!!!! This place doesn't even deserve 2 stars. The good reviews must have been done by employees or fake accounts!!!"

"This had to be the filthiest super 8 I have ever been in. The room had a little kitchenette, and there was food in the cabinets. The microwave had rust and mold. The fridge didn’t work. The room had 2 beds but only one set of towels. When I asked for more, the gentleman looked at like I asked for $50. There was a blunt from someone smoking marijuana on the floor, mold behind the bathroom door, with rusty hinges. The ceiling was cracked and the pain was bubbling off the wall. Stains all over the sheets and bedspread. If I hadn’t gotten in from a concert so late, I would have demanded a better room."

"We were only staying one night so I had limited time in the room. First impressions: the hotel was really clean. I mean the floor actually shined and the soap smell was so strong I could smell it everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For the bad, our room had a busted outlet that hung open. We didn't have any toddlers so I didn't have to worry about anyone electrocuting themselves. The pull out bed was, disgusting. Again it was only 1 night so we didn't have to deal with it long. If you're doing a one night stay, in and out, it's cheap and extremely clean (at least it was while we were there). I wouldn't make it a long stay but if it's any longer I would choose somewhere else"

"We were in the area moving my mom and immediately upon opening our room door roaches scattered. There were stains on the comforters. I pulled the sheets back and checked the mattress and there were bed bugs. Went to front desk and he gave us another room and it was just as bad if not worse with bed bugs as well. We left. I'd rather sleep in my SUV than to stay in such gross conditions."

"I do not normally do reviews but this place is terrible. Guy at the counter was outside smoking 3 out of 4 times we went to counter. Dirt was on the floor. Toilet missing cover. Drain in tub broken, Drape in room broken and hanging Breakfast area was just dirty and not presentable. See toaster tells the whole story. Light socks in room with no bulb, I wonder if they are hot and a child stick their finger in. Mean sounding dogs barking in hall and rooms."
