"This place was once a gem in the Southend area. It still is a "luxury apartment", but so many of them have been built the past 4 years, the Silos doesn't really have anything that justifies it besides the pool. If you're a big pool person, this is the spot for you. More apartment complexes have many more amenities, and are probably newer and cheaper for the price. I'd probably give it four stars if the leasing staff were better. The area has been prime for homelessness since 2021, so cars get broken into. Leasing office never follows up despite cameras being on-site. This happened to me and several others. They always seem to forget to renew their pool inspection from the city as well. Super annoying when Memorial day rolls around and the pool still isn't open. Whatever their excuse is in a mass email to the community about the pool, don't believe them. Gotta shout out the maintenance staff. They are great. The guys always say hello and are very attentive on requests. They do great on the landscaping as well."
"If you care about your safety please do NOT live here. I have never lived in a complex who cared so little about their residents. I was in the gym at 5am by myself and someone who didn't live in the complex, but was still inside the building, tried to break into the gym where I was. Since he didn't live there, he did not have a fob to get in but stood outside the gym waiting until my fiance came and he ran away. The office did nothing but try to gaslight me saying “it was probably just someone passing through.” Even though he stood there watching me and tried to shake both entrance doors open. They did absolutely nothing about the situation and did not even let other residents know this incident occurred. And on ANOTHER occasion, I was going to the gym at 5am and I was approached by a man who did not live there asking to be let into the snack room. Since my safety was as risk I let him because I know it would give me the opportunity to get away from him. I later got a call from the leasing office scolding me saying I should have never let him into the snack room and they were upset because pillows were stolen. They did not care about my safety, they only cared about what was stolen. Had that incident happened again I would still choose to let him into that room knowing that was the only way to make myself safe. Residents were also not notified about this incident. We moved as soon as our lease was up. I cannot recommend to people enough DO NOT LIVE HERE. For the money you pay, you should be safe."
"I moved to Silos South End about 6 months ago. After 6 months of living here, we have had an amazing experience so far! We moved from a single family home that we owned and decided to rent in the area until we decide to purchase again. Maintenance is always on top of any issues we have, the location itself is great, and the units are clean and feel safe. Love it here!"
"As a vendor I appreciate working with everyone on site, every time I show up. The residents are friendly the location is extremely dog friendly. Pool is well maintenanced and the gym is quite active."
"We recently relocated from out of state and are very happy with our selection of apartment complexes. We first picked an apartment which did not suit our needs. We contacted the office and they were more than accommodating! We have called maintenance a few times (usual items- i.e. Fridge water filter) and they have been prompt and helpful. Also this complex is very pet friendly. The picture I have attached is actual of the 3 story/2 bedroom town homes on the property."
