"I visited so many communities in the Charlotte area and Berkshire Place Apartments was the winner!! It’s been so cold and I Love sitting by my wood burning fireplace☺️The community is clean and maintenance staff is on top of everything when you need them! Plenty of parking spaces. Special thank you to the office staff. Johanna, Jennifer and Onriel have been truly amazing and made me feel at home ❤️"

"We have lived at Berkshire Place for 10 years. I met Tongha, Yolanda, Cournie, John and Matthew, lovely people, a nice team and always attentive to the concerns of the tenants. A year ago my husband spoke in the office explaining our desire to move to another apartment where the sun enters the apartment, here where we are the sun is never seen. One was vacated across the street and the office told him that a transfer could not be made to an apartment of the same size, and could only be made to a smaller one. We stayed another year. We notify you that the nails are coming out of the wall but they do not take this into account, which I believe is a product of humidity and is harmful to our health. Due to our allergies it is not recommended. Hello, I need to send an inspector from the city to check because the nails are coming out of the wall and the paper that covers the walls is lifting. I need to be transferred to another apartment because I think the humidity is affecting my and my husband's immune system, and we are very allergic. The closets have a musty smell and I have to wash my clothes all the time to get rid of that unpleasant smell. The air conditioning must be cleaned in the ducts because it is always emitting dust, I always have to clean my room because the bed, nightstands and chest of drawers fill with dust, therefore my husband and I are breathing that dust every day. the nights. That is why I request the transfer to another apartment. Thank you and I look forward to your collaboration."

"I can only give a 1 star & that’s for Charlene. She’s very professional & will assist you with what’s needed. When I first moved over here Yolanda was the office manager. She was very helpful & assisted with anything she could. Tammy on the other hand who is currently the manager, is very unprofessional. She doesn’t even try to answer questions or assist with concerns. However, let you be one day late on the rent and that’s the ONLY time she will reach out. I personally can’t recommend this apartment community due to Tammy and maintenance. They could ALL do better as a whole!!"

"I’ve been here going on 2 years now. I’ve heard from several of my neighbors. That when Yolanda was here the office was in order. Tammy the office manager is a character. She never has accurate information & she makes up her own rules as she goes. Changes come every other day, but no emails nor actual updates are given. When you call, she passes the voicemails off so she doesn’t have to do her job effectively. However, Charlene is wonderful very personable & professional. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone. I’m type A, & when things are out of order it bothers me completely. The only way you get answers is to call corporate."
