"I would first start off by saying Thank you Sam Duffy and the rest of the staff for helping me with my process of getting my apartment. I had a few bumps during the process but Sam pushed through and was very professional. So hence the reason for my 5 stars. I’m looking forward to having a great relationship with Foxcroft staff. Thanks again for everything."
"Do not waste your money on this place! 1. I moved in with a broken dryer. It took almost 3 months to fix it. I was told to keep track of how much I spent on laundry and they would refund it. They refunded 30 dollars. Who does laundry for 10 dollars a month? I had to go to the office every day for them to finally fix it. 2. It took 5 months to fix the carpet. I was told by maintence that the office put it off becuase they were afraid the carpet would not match. 3. Pest control that you pay for, comes in and does one little squirt in one room and calls it done. If you complain to the office you are told they are getting a new pest control guy. 4. Maintence likes to cancel service requests with no one ever showing up. You have to go to the office to inform them, they put it in and it often gets canceled again. You are then told by Sam, Cam and Sarah that they are getting new maintence guys. 5. They will tell you to lock up the dog because they are coming but never show up. When they do show up it is weeks later and they don't fix the problem. 6. You will always here "I will be there tomorrow" and yet they don't bother informing you that they could not be bothered to show up and when you finally get someone to answer it always because "he was dealing with an emergency." or "He was on vacation but will be back next week." 7. Valet trash service is a joke that often does not pick up all the trash, yet you pay 33 dollars a month for it. 8. The place has so many roaches they should be paying rent. 9. They replaced the weather stripping on my door. Once they did it would no longer close properly. When they came back to find out why I was told by Fred that the doors were not made for weather stripping and he could remove it which would allow more bugs in or leave it on and not be able to lock my door. He then procceeded to remove it and told me they would have someone out to replace the door frame that afternoon. Did anyone come? Of course not. 10. They finally put a screen in the window. It does not fit. It is falling out because it is too small. And those are just the minor things. I have only been here about 6 months. I can not wait to leave this place. I was really excited about moving here until actually living here. Edit: to clarify for the comment below: why would I bother contacting you to discuss the issues? I was in the office every day, I told you the same issues that I wrote about, the only thing I was told was "how are we supposed to know what maintenance is doing if you don't tell us?" And other crazy lines about new employees. No apology, no addressing my issues, nothing changed. You are aware of the issues."
"My wife and I moved out of an apartment of their “newer” luxury apartments that we lived in for 28 months. The first year or so was fine, not a lot of issues and if there was something it got handled relatively well. After that first year all the staff left, and there was a new maintenance worker every other week, and a new person in the office every month or so. It doesn’t appear like a good company to work for but that is beside the point. No offense to the maintenance crew but they are not really good at fixing the issues of this place and the issues kept piling up for them. The units are not luxury, the staff there is fine but corporate is awful. The last year or so of us living there our a/c continual broke and bandaids were applied on an a/c unit that looks as old as the buildings are. It caused some real damage to our houseplants and killed a few of them. We moved out and now they are forcing us to pay for carpets that are with in normal wear and tare but they are saying that they are damaged. They say an “expert” looked at the carpet and it was just one of their maintenance workers. They didn’t even try to clean the carpet, the wear and tare that they say can’t be fixed is from our couch legs and walking paths. We never wore shoes in the house and do they not want you to have furniture on the house? Don’t live here unless you can float above the carpet and have no furniture. Also don’t believe that these are luxury or high end. They are old and corporate will not spend any money on these places to fix them unless it comes from your wallet. To clarify for the comment below, no you never did fix the a/c."
"My fiancé and I have enjoyed living in this community for the past year and any time we have needed something addressed, which is rare, it has been handled quickly and professionally. We constantly see the maintenance staff working around the complex to keep it clean and welcoming for the residents. Sam and the rest of the front office are very communicative and transparent about closures of certain amenities that are out of their control. Cameron and Kayli, two of the property staff members, posts on our community wall about things to do both in our community and around Charlotte which is great especially for those, like me, who are not originally from Charlotte and are looking for things to do. Finally, for an unknown reason our dog has a fear of golf carts and barks/pulls on his leash towards the maintenance staff when he sees them driving. He loves people, just not golf carts. They now stop (if they see us) and allow me to get him out of eyesight before driving again, which is so incredibly helpful while we are working with him to be less reactive on walks. Things like this are why we are glad to call Camden Foxcroft home!"
"DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! I just moved out today and I couldn't be happier to no longer deal with Camden. I will NEVER rent from a Camden property again, I learned my lesson. My roof caved in in April and it took them almost SEVEN WEEKS to fix it. On top of that, if maintenance ever shows up to fix your requests they will just slap a band-aid over the issue or make the issue worse. All "repairs" done end up broken again a week later. Management and maintenance is terrible. Every single person in my building (4426) has moved out either before their lease was up or when the lease ended. Save yourself the time and energy and avoid looking at this place at all costs. And if you're unfortunate enough to choose my old unit (4426 L) good luck! Rent at your own risk!"
