1100 South Apartments

"Let me be crystal clear: stay as far away from 1100 South as you can... This place is an absolute disaster, and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. First and foremost, the management – especially Patrick – is downright awful. They not only lack basic competence but also any semblance of decency. Case in point: they kicked us out of our own apartment 10 months before our lease ended for construction that was supposed to be completed months ago. No explanation, just a forced eviction. After we’ve been nothing, but amazing residents. It's the epitome of unprofessionalism. Speaking of construction, it's a never-ending nightmare. When I signed my lease, the leasing agent, Danzale, assured me the construction would only last 3-4 months. Yet here we are, 6 months later, and it's no where near finished. They conveniently "forgot" to mention that the construction would just move to another part of the building, prolonging the misery for everyone involved. It's clear they have no respect for their tenants' time or sanity. As if that wasn't bad enough, the state of the property is appalling. Dark, dingy hallways reek of disgustingness, with dog urine stains everywhere as a constant reminder of the lack of cleanliness. And don't even get me started on the nonexistent security measures – no cameras means zero accountability for any incidents that may occur. 1100 South is a living nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for housing. 1100 South Apartments is a prime example of everything a living space shouldn't be."

"I was nervous about this place after reading some older reviews; however, I took a chance because of the location and my in-person tour experience when I 1st visited Charlotte. I haven’t moved into my apt yet, so I’m writing based on my communication experience with Faith B. It's been effortless and smooth so far! Faith has been very pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering my many questions and requests. I.e., I’m out of state and doing everything virtually. This includes ordering Internet packages and new home things. Some of the things arrived earlier than expected (before my move-in), and she/the office is holding my packages until I get there. Customer service five ⭐️. I'm looking forward to living and exploring the place/area."

"I have been living here for 2 and half years and wouldn’t have left if it wasn’t for my own house. Perfect location, perfect apartment size, great quality appliances (still working after 2.5 years), awesome events giving you real sense of community, everyone in the leasing office makes an effort to remember you and does a very good job with that. They are so very helpful and it makes you want to stay in such happy place. It is only 5 min walk to work, legit next to light rail. Oh and rent, on the good side. Everything Perfect!"

"My husband and I have lived at 1100 for 2 years and we love our apartment and the staff. They do their best to keep everything clean and we have everything we need. If we have questions or concerns, the staff is always available to address them immediately. We are also happy to have an apartment team like Erica and Mark that make living here a bit more fun, especially now with the pandemic going on. They throw some cool events and we enjoy taking part in them."
