"Lately things have been seeming like it’s one step forward and ten steps back with this complex. They’ll fix and focus things that must come from upper management, like the retaining walls, moving the playground and dog park, cookout areas, etc. But then there’ll be street lamps and lights all throughout the property that have been out for months which has lead to issues with safety and security. Notably with the car break-ins that occurred a couple months ago, and most recently there was a person shot in the middle of the afternoon. It's like having a video doorbell and security system is a must, with the hopes you'll be able to help catch the next crime committed. They’re also finally now getting around to renovating the gym, which was originally stated to be closed for “four to six weeks, but if it happens to go over that we will stay in communication with you all.” That was back in February and it still isn’t close to being open, with little correspondence between then and now. It’s apparent they have goals and want to add things to make this an appealing place to live, but it seems like they really need to focus on the baseline needs of their community. Invest in the safety and security of the tenants, in whichever form that takes, and all the fun new additions will feel worthwhile. Maintenance is a real bright spot though. They are always on top of their game"

"Sketchy activities all the time. All the cars were broken into because the parking lot was kept dark for months. Then someone gets shot yesterday and minutes later they sent out a survey and the first question was “how safe do you feel here?” Trash everywhere Only good thing about this place is the maintenance crew."

"The most beneficial thing about the move in process with Arbor village is getting reminders and what is needed to be done before you move in such as when to contact Duke energy and internet set up via the Updater app. Great system!"

"I've lived here roughly 5 months. On January 12th, residents were informed that the parking lot retainer walls would be demo'd and all several parking spaces would be closed off. Instead of doing the project in segments, a large swath of the parking lot was closed off, leaving residents to fend for themselves. Some cars have been towed to a location that's 10 miles away from the complex and you have to call 311 to get info on a Sunday. It's very inconsiderate that management wouldn't provide an ETA for completion of the project and it's an inconvenience to residents, especially if we're expected to pay rent on time."
