"Originally, Julie from the answering dept. was helpful and understanding of a situation where our bathroom door was locked and despite trying for DAYS, no open door. She stated that an employee would be coming to open it, as a bathroom is pretty important. After a bit with nobody coming, we called again. This time a woman named Zara or Sarah from the same dept. answered and was VERY VERY rude and UNPROFESSIONAL! I was being kind and explaining what Julie had stated and Sarah told me to "apply myself" and get a paperclip. (we had been doing this for days, even with screwdrivers!! why else would we call?!) She gave us a very unpleasant experience. This is not the first time we've had this issue with the doors locking from the inside. She began to get very combative when I explained what Julie had told me, and Sarah stated that "the bathroom is not an emergency." I was genuinely baffled by this experience! She always comes on time and quickly assesses my concerns (for example: responding to my move in inspection notes, and coordinating fixture repairs with vendors, etc). She is respectful of my home and doesn't leave a mess behind when working in an area. She also takes the time to educate me on the source of any issues and if applicable, how I could prevent something from malfunctioning in the future. "I've lived here for 9 months and hadn't had any serious issues; however, once I did, I found the leasing manager to be extremely disappointing which has left a bad taste in my mouth. No communication, zero empathy, and minimal effort to support the residents regarding an ongoing safety issue."
