"i started out having a great experience with these apartments. I started out in 1 unit, it was lovely, maintenance is prompt, however when they moved me to a 2nd unit is when the problems started. they put in a unit with roaches, a washing machine that doesn't half work, and 1 of my bathrooms doesn't have hot water and missing the stopper. NONE of the stoppers in the bathroom quite worked properly either, and my rent is $1600, so imagine my frustration, dents in the doors, just painted over dents everywhere, holes on the wall on the balcony. I will to have my unit bombed or fogged, as well. Quickly their kindness started to diminish, i can just about bet they talked junk about me in that office for simply correcting them when they mispronounced my name and i was adamant about getting rid of these roaches (which i was able to kind of resolve on my own, as the exterminators only come out once a week, on Tuesday). The ladies up front started out so nice, but started to become cold.. yes its my fault for not properly checking out the unit, they helped me when i felt desperate, but after living in such a nice unit before, i had no idea they would even open up a unit that looks like this for somebody to live in. the apartment was unsightly and i'm stuck here. they do not give you a heads up when maintenance is coming or the exterminator. Like i dont have a job, calling for updates left me feeling even more frustrated as a person with anxiety, but if i dont call them, they wont call me. also, getting charged $300 for the carpet at the last unit, i lived there for 3 years, foot traffic and dents was the reason. so be careful with the carpet that is literally everywhere. "This place was great for a first apartment. Not too pricey, great location, and nice amenities inside the apartment. They have been real slack lately with notifying tenants about things such as the water being turned off. But they don’t have a problem emailing you about rent being due when it’s the 1st and you get paid on the 1st. We have never been late for rent. Why should I have to wake up to the water being turned off without ANY notice whatsoever?! And not sure how long it’s going to take for it to be fixed? This is an extreme inconvenience especially when we pay RENT and for those that have to go to work in the afternoon. Then I go to the office to see what’s going on and a sign is up stating they will be returning in a hour. How convenient right? I see the manager Brettany in her car and she states she is in a meeting on the phone and to return at 1pm. I said so the water won’t be on until 1pm? She checks her phone for the time and says come back at 12. I said how do y’all turn off the water without notifying us? She said she sent an email out right before turning the water off. I said I didn’t receive an email nor did my fiancé. Her response was I’m sorry. I said yeah because you are lying and we will not be renewing our lease. She rolled up her window and got back to her “meeting”. Other issues are parking (not enough considering that they put all the new people on our unit), loud neighbors, cabinets keep falling off due to short screws, minor discoloration of paint on the walls, etc. Like I said this great for a first apartment but I don’t highly recommend."
