Alta Croft

"Altacroft is corrupted. Notice that every few months theres a new property manager. I guarantee after my review is published several "5 star reviews"will be trailing right behind my review a day or two after. Notice that the 5 star reviews will all be in the same day or same week. Once you Look at the other previous 5 star reviews anyone will notice they're fake. But this is the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to live unless this place is the last resort. I been living at this complex for 3 years when it first came on the market. Everything was great until management changed around 2021. Everything everyone stated about Broderick is complete truth. Both Broderick and Becky are abhorrent and despicable beings. I have never encountered Becky but she had the audacity to say I was a liar about something she absolutely had no knowledge of. I moved out of this complex in 2023 and honestly it was the best decision I made. I had to keep emailing and calling about my final move out balance. I was told by Broderick that 60 days from my move out date I had to pay the bill or it would be sent to collections. I was told that the final balance would be emailed. Lo and behold 5 months later I still have not received anything. Due to this ordeal my information has been sent to the tenant screening agency and collections stating that I have a balance due which has impacted me negatively. During the 5 month span I kept calling and emailing altacroft and wood partners in regards to my balance to pay in full. I spoke with several people including the previous manager Christine and they all stated Broderick will be in touch with me and email my final balance. In November of 2023 per conversation by phone, I was finally able to reach Broderick and he stated that he would email me my final move out balance. He asked me if I was able to come into the office to pay the balance and I said no due to living in another state and training for My new career. He said he will send me the balance by email and I can pay online. Once paid a letter will be issued stating that the balance has been paid in full. I had to contact several agencies to resolve this matter. The new manager Becky which was not on the property during my tenancy at Altacroft had the audacity to state Iam a blatant liar about what transpired. She had no knowledge of what took place so I dont understand why she was involved despite her so called title of property manager. Broderick is a conniving manipulative being. Nothing was sent to My email, but he made sure to doctored all documents for his benefit. Thankfully I was able to resolve everything and clear up my credit report and purchase my home. Several people including 2 of my colleagues and my sister had issues with Broderick and management and had to move out. Look at the reviews of wood partners and their corrupted operation. Don't LIVE AT ALTACROFT. Please altacroft management don't respond to my review with lies. Carry on and continue to sit behind a desk, not answer calls and emails. Neither Broderick or Becky will be in their positions for much longer or get a promotion."

"Very welcoming atmosphere. The assistant manager was very professional and service oriented. Alta has great amenities and the apartments are very roomy w/homie environment. Pet stations to a carport. They are right off interstate 485 in a very nice area. The accommodations are great in the surrounding area. You can even rent the clubhouse for business or recreational use. My tour was great!"

"I’ve been living at Alta Croft for over a year now and the experience has been wonderful! Such a highly maintained, safe and family oriented community. Location is convenient since grocery stores are walking distance and you can hop on the highway to get to surrounding areas! The entire office staff is AMAZING at handling any situations that arise and they actually care about their residents ❤️ Huge thank you to Amy, Broderick and Jessica + the maintenance crew for making this place truly feel like home!"

"Alta Croft is a newer luxury apartment complex located in north Charlotte. My family moved from the property and immensely enjoyed our time in this community. They have a beautiful clubhouse equipped with a fitness center, workspaces, and a pool. One thing I liked about the complex was the location. I've lived next to I-485 for the past ten years in Northlake, and this property allowed me to continue easy access to get wherever I need to go in Charlotte in a hurry. The apartments are beautifully designed, and they offer many different floor plans. My favorite layout was the one we chose the Glasgow. Huge and spacious, and our apartment sported 14 feet ceilings. The property being newer, the appliances are all new and top of the line. That's one thing I appreciated about the apartment. Maintenance is excellent and always quick to fix any issue, no matter how minor. The Property Director Nicole is fantastic, easy to communicate with, and always eager to help. The leasing professionals Jade and Joquilla I have worked with during my time here are bright and have tremendous customer service skills. I would definitely recommend this community for anyone's apartment shopping, especially if you want an amazing three-bedroom."
