"Not sure why the review I posted 4 years ago has been deleted, but I have a feeling that Brown Heights Management was not happy with their complex being negatively reviewed! So here I am again reposting my exact review I had posted 4 years ago: "Affordable and convenient location for students looking for housing. Maintenance staff is very timely and professional. However, management has issues with respecting tenants that they deem a "problem". I chose to live at Brown Heights for two years while I was a full time student at ASU, and during my time living at Brown Heights, I have been falsely accused of residential issues concerning other tenants, racially profiled, and my tenant rights have been violated MANY times. If you can find somewhere else to live in Boone for a decent price, I would recommend finding another complex to stay at! The only reason I am rating Brown Heights a one-star, is simply because the actual apartment itself was not in TERRIBLE condition, however their apartments are very dated and needs some renovations." I hope that for future residents that the management team at Brown Heights has gotten much better in terms of how they treat their residents, as well as the actual apartment units being renovated in the past years since they were pretty outdated when I had lived there from 2016-2018."

Overall, it is an inexpensive and solid place to live as an App State student or anyone else who is looking for an apartment in the Boone Area."

"Brown Heights is a wonderful place to live. They are always so friendly and are always willing to answer my questions. The maintenance person is timely and friendly. Today I submitted a small maintenance request and it was fixed within a few hours. I subleased at Bill Brown and Sons one summer and I came back the next year to live at Brown Heights, because they were so pleasant to work with. They have a great location and are reasonable priced for the area."

"Brown Heights properties is the best management company in Boone. They have taken care of me, and maintenance has always come within half a day! They actually care about their tenants and that is something you don't find a lot of in Boone."

"I have been living in Brown Heights for a year now and I absolutely love it! Maintenance comes out the same day or the next day when you file a maintenance request. The administration staff is kind and very helpful! I can walk from my apartment to the classroom in less than 20 minutes but the bus stop is just a minute away. Sandy, the landlord, is beyond helpful and offers rent at such a reasonable price. I would 11/10 recommend this place to anyone who is looking! The furniture is clean and makes it easy to move in and out! Best deal for your money."
