"My 11yr old Aussie named Winston who already had one eye removed was blind in his other due to severe cataract. Dr. English said I can’t make him 100% visual but I can give him 90%. That was good enough for us. We scheduled his surgery. When I say it was a life changer for Winston that is an understatement. It was a life changer for all of us. The very next day Winston’s world appeared in front of him. He could SEE and it showed. He walked the yard looking at everything. Over the next week his confidence in his renewed sight was obvious. His head held high, he wasn’t secluding himself, his physical activity picked up and there was a renewed deepening of his bark. My boy was back. I’ve been in amusement and wonderment of watching him rediscover his world. 11yrs old is up there for an Aussie, but when Dr. English said “I can” that’s all I needed. The entire staff Dr. Fontenelle and Dr. Rodriguez as well as all of the technicians are so incredibly amazing. Let me also mention the receptionist she is such a sweet woman who has asked about Winston on each check up. Thank you Dr. Scott Munn at West Cary Animal Hospital for referring us. It’s because of knowledge and understanding of your patient that we were able to give our boy a new lease on life. Thank you to everyone. Sherry A"
"Took my dog here to have his eye checked out. He's got a cataract and a detached retina. They were very friendly, and my dog wasn't anxious at all. They explained his condition well. The waiting room and restroom were very clean. Definitely recommend"
"Such a wonderful and caring staff here! I brought my cat in for an eye ulcer that turned into a very long ordeal. He ended up needing emergency surgery to put a graft on his eye after it ruptured! The staff here made dropping off my little guy so much easier, knowing he was in good hands. He has since made a full recovery. I don't know what I would have done if not for the wonderful doctors here. I would very highly recommend this practice for anyone concerned about their fur babies' eyes. My Dapper Dan sure appreciates all that they did to help him!"
"Our golden retriever has issues with his eye lids due to a muscular degenerative condition. The staff and doctors at Animal Eye Care have been amazing in their care and approach at treating his eyes, while not recommending the most extreme options. They genuinely are more concerned about the long term outcome than short term financial gains for our experiences. We are grateful for a team that seems to care about our pup as much as we do. Thank you!"
