"The reason the score is so low on the rooms is because of the dust/gravel on the counters at the vanity mirror. Gravel and dust and wrappers in the corners of the floors when we first walked in. The room is non smoking, and it smelled JUST LIKE cigarettes. I'm VERY appreciative for the day and night desk clerks that were EXTREMELY patient with my guest. I also appreciate the security guard for keeping the grounds secure."

"Ladies working the front desk are all AWESOME and our most recent stay was much better than the last when we had previously stayed we did see several roaches in the room and this time with a much longer stay we had seen 0!!Staying as a weekly guest you can request housekeeping if you would like or post NO SERVICE on your window and for the most part they respect it. With this hotel being in not so great of an area it is very well lit up and a hotel has security on site 24 hours a day!"

"Room was clean however the manager has a horrible attitude. Night staff was very professional unlike the manager. Employees give different answers to what is and is not permitted. The bathroom door does not shut. Advertised laundry facilities are not operational due to a fire and they claim they have no plans to fix this issue. Constant police and ambulance presence due to drugs and domestic issues. The only other positives were the security guard is very nice and it’s well lit at night. Would not recommend Brookwood Inn if you plan to stay more than one night."
