DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport

"The only thing that made this a double tree was the name, oh and the not fresh prepackaged cookies. It was old and run down. The food and bar were extremely limited in hours and choices. However my club sandwich was good. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful! If it wasn’t for them I may have picked another place. The room was pretty small. However it did have a microwave and fridge."

"The receptionist Phany and shuttle driver James were fantastic. Housekeeping did an outstanding job. Great location to airport. People who previously complained must be overly negative. It does get busy due to airline personnel using the hotel. My 2nd time here and I would definitely stay again."

"At first our check in person was a bit short because she was working the front desk alone and the line of guest checking was out the door, but then she turned into a nice lady who was happy to offer us water and cookies. Please have 2 people at check in. The elderly people in line shouldn’t have to wait. Our room was clean overlooked a peaceful grove of trees. Very nice stay"

"Had a terrible experience with the hotel down the street and came here instead. Chloe was AMAZING! I was so upset I was shaking but she calmed me down and changed my experience. After that warm cookie, it seemed that all my troubles had faded away. The room I reserved online wasn't available but she made provisions and more than made up for it. She was absolutely awesome. I thank her for being a life jacket in rough waters because I was upset. The room was clean, the lobby and the exterior of the hotel were immaculate. The elevators were under construction but they had someone lead us to the service elevator and she was also very pleasant and accommodating. We asked for extra towels and didn't have to leave a deposit. They do charge an incidental fee to be refunded after you leave so be prepared for that. That breakfast is something awesome. My son was very pleased with the choices and we didn't even have to stop for food on our way home. If you are in the area, stay here and say Hello to Chloe for me.."
