"I was refused service because of my prepaid card. I booked/paid online was denied the room and lost my money."

"FALSE ADVERTISING- this is not a Super 8 and the actual hotel looks nothing like the picture. The parking lot was filled with sketchy characters upon my arrival and looked like an active drug spot. I said to the man behind the desk, ‘I thought this was supposed to be a Super 8.’ He said, ‘Used to be, not no more.’ The only redeemable quality is that he allowed me to cancel my reservation, which I did. Quickly."

"I had to pay $100 in cash to check in which would have been good to know ahead of time which required me to physically go to the front desk to check out to receive the money back which would not have been a huge deal if the place wasn't located in what appears to be a very shady area and with me checking out early in the morning, and likely with the local unshady folks being aware that the ones checking in and checking out had at least $100 in cash on them. The room itself was surprisingly not terrible. It is interesting the hotel advertises that they have a free shuttle as when I asked about it, the man who worked there and who appeared by his clothing as if he just came off the street responded the hotel basically no longer has a shuttle."

"Don't stay here... They got me a room quickly, but the stench that immediately invaded our nostrils once we opened the room door spelled doom for us. There was mold high up on the walls. They gave us a different room upon request, but it wasn't much better. We also got some sort of fragrance that made it pretty clear that they were trying to CONCEAL a scent instead of fixing the underlying issue. Very disappointing. And all the earlier comments about sketchy people is 100% accurate. In the 12 minutes we were there, we were privy to some of these concerns almost immediately."

"This hotel is in a ROUGH part of town. Tons of people hanging out in the parking lot including one guy begging me for money before I could even get inside the lobby. Almost bad enough for me to cancel my non-refundable room and go elsewhere. My room was moderately clean with cigarette holes in the linens. The sheets were damp from not being completely dried. It was late and I didn't have time to figure out an alternative. Then in the morning the housekeepers literally begged me for a tip (which I reluctantly gave) and begged me for one of my sodas. They also incessantly knocked from 10:50-10:55am until I finally opened the door. Checkout is supposed to be 11a and I was gone by then. I hate being rushed when I'm not late. Absolutely horrible place to stay."
