Comfort Suites Airport 3425 Mulberry Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28208

"We booked 2 nights in August 2023 but after checking in and being in the room for a couple of hours, we were not happy with the vibe. The view was an abandoned overgrown lot. The toilet made a constant weird slurping sound. Surfaces were not clean. The room didn't smell fresh. No amenities. We checked out and were told our money would be refunded. It's January 2024 and I've called multiple times asking where the heck my money is, but I just keep getting the runaround. They say the GM will call me back and he never has. I got through to him once and he said he would find out what happened with my refund and call me back, but of course he never has. I guess he's waiting on me to forget that they took my money even though I never spent a single night at their scummy hotel. They stole my money and have lied to me or avoided me EVERY SINGLE TIME I called about it. They're wrong and they know it. I regret the entire trashy experience. I suppose I should just call corporate at this point."

"Extremely affordable. Clean Room. No vent in bathroom, however. Free shuttle service 5am-12pm on the hour and by request after 12pm. Definitely worth the it for the price. An Uber/Taxi to and from airport would cost roughly $30, so you're saving the cost for travel within cost of hotel."

"There is no reason to stay at this hotel!!! I called before arrival to ask if the hotel had a shuttle as advertised, they did and sent it to the airport to collect me. On arrival at the front desk, they told me there would be no shuttle in the morning. When I responded that the web sites indicates a complimentary shuttle is provided and I called to confirm there would be a shutttle, a very aggressive and rude front desk manager told me that the shuttle service isn't something they are obligated to provide. I requested to cancel my reservation and the front desk manager would refused indicating that I would have to forfeit one night (the only night stay). She connected me to the GM who assured me they would make it right which was an very interesting conversation because it seems his plan was to smooth things over without providing any resolutions. Room assigned had been smoked in and still had the smoke migration machine in the room! Smoke was so bad I called down to the front desk. Hotel was sold out but found a room that was in disrepair to move me to. No hot water in the morning!!! Cold shower! Didn't shave. Staff hid in the morning! No one was at the front desk depite numerous people looking for them. Honestly there is no reason to stay at this property!"

"Called early in the morning to ask for an early check-in. Was told yes we could get in early. Arrived at hotel at 1 and rooms were not ready. Was told it would be another 30 minutes before my 2 rooms were ready. After 45 minutes, the rooms were ready. 1 on the 1st floor, the other on 2nd floor. The front desk attendant looked like she had just crawled out of bed. Hair not done, and appearance was not professional. The room appears to be clean. It smelled clean. Spots needed to be upgraded. Holes in the curtains and the bed underline was ripped and visible hanging down. Entrance needs maintenance. You can't find the sign because it's basically hidden behind a bunch of overgrown bushes. Glad my stay was only 1 night. It will definitely be my last. Would not recommend this hotel."
