"This location is not in a bad part of Charlotte, however there are a lot of homeless people walking around. We had a room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. Sofa bed had dirt on the sheets, and the mattress was the thinnest worn out sofa mattress that I have ever seen. The outlets would not hold a regular plug for a charger. I'm almost certain that our bathroom had black mold in it. The hallways had dirt and dust all along the floorboards. The hallways also had a smell that I can only describe as the combination of Marijuana and cleaning solutions. There wasn't any breakfast as advertised. The service with the front desk was indifferent. Had to wait for a security employee to retrieve the hotel clerk both times I interacted with the front desk. Do not recommend this location"

"Sticky floors, disgusting rooms, I am easy to please - and this was appauling. Don’t walk- run. Not sure they ever clean this place by the look of it. Literally a tampon wrapper stuck to the tub. I mean WOW. WORST HOTEL IVE SEEN IN YEARS. Most motel 8s are nicer. Red roof is a step up. Disgusting. Smelled awful."

"Avoid, especially for flight crews. I’m easy to please but this is unacceptable. I would rather a crash pad, hostel, or the crew room. The only good thing I have to say is the guy working the desk was nice. Hotel smells like smoke, sketch characters (but they do have security), no toiletries or soap, couch and mattress are stained beyond belief and with cigarette burns. Sink pantry is literally a piece of plywood that is chewed across the bottom with the painting skills of a 5 year old. Heater is louder and makes more noise than the ptu on an airbus (I can’t imagine the AC), you will not get sleep. Water is either hot or cold, hard to adjust to a nice temperature. Mold on the furniture under the mini fridge. I can go on… Room 123. I’ll spare you from seeing photos."

"If you have any other option, DO NOT STAY HERE! I checked in and left within 30 minutes. Huge gaps at the bottom of all doors, so you can hear everything. The room was mostly clean (from what I could tell), but smelled funny. Also very sketchy people in the lobby needing to get into rooms. Doesn’t feel safe."

"Absolutely terrible experience. Unsafe. I made a reservation through their phone reservation line, upon arrival to the hotel they over booked the rooms and multiple people did not get their rooms, even with reservations. I was sketchily given the option for a room if I meet the receptionist in the elevator. The room I was provided had the peep hole pushed out and a tissue stuffed in its place. The fire alarm was covered with a trash bag. Towels were stained, bathroom was dirty, heater didn’t work, the vending machines didn’t work, their continental breakfast was not provided on time. Was supposed to start at 6am and I left at 7am so I never could get water or food. Couldn’t get any water unless it was from the bathroom sink.l was panhandled inside the hotel while waiting in the elevator. Racial slurs written on the stair doors. Whole place reeked of marajuana and cigarettes. Also can’t get a refund"
