"**Wear hiking boots or waterproof shoes** The trail starts with a scenic waterfall and then is an out-&-back for pretty much as far as you care to hike. There is moderate elevation and lots of tree roots to mind your footing around. Most importantly the trail crisscrosses a stream more than a dozen times. You'll want to wear good boots/no-slip shoes that won't slip on the rocks while you're crossing over the water."
"Nice easy walk from the trailhead to Meigs Creek Cascades. It took us less than an hour to hike from the Sinks to the falls. It was the day before Thanksgiving. We had no problem finding a parking place the hike was beautiful. We crossed paths with only 2-3 people. We did have to cross the creek a few times. We had the falls all to ourselves."
"Fun trail. Cross Meigs Creek multiple times. There are no bridges so you have to navigate across via the stones in the creek."
"Great hike. Moderate. Water crossings. Nothing too exciting. Pretty scenery. Bear sightings. Blackberries. Yum. A little buggy out so definitely spray before you go. Fish in the streams you will be crossing. Beautiful trail."
"Beautiful hiking trail with a variety of great scenery along the way. 3.5 (7 round trip) miles long and I think we counted 18 water crossings along the way. Deer, bird, waterfalls... loved it! Do note that with recent storms there are numerous spots where you have to scramble over or under fallen trees until the park service has a chance to clean this trail."
