"They make up prices. The NEW LADY who served me on Oct 16, 2023 wanted to overcharge me. I came in for take out order rice with Guandules and chicken, the CORRECT order amount is $8.00 NOT $10.00. Then she gave me the wrong change,!!! Lack of basic math!"

"I've been eating John's since I was a kid. Even after moving out the neighborhood, I still drive an hour to Inwood to get it. It's my absolute favorite! The taste has never changed. I put my grandson on and he loves it too! Unfortunately, the lady attending the counter last night was super rude and nasty. For years I've been getting the short thighs. I've even bought 35 pieces to cater events several times. This woman told me that I couldn't order them because the meal doesn't come like that. Um, ok then don't give me the meal. Give me the chicken and fries separately. She said they don't do that. What?! Are you kidding! 40 years of going to John's and she didn't want to sell me the pieces I wanted? Her attitude was atrocious. I truly hope John's management sees this review."

After our visit, we most likely won't return to Popeyes, Kennedy or KFC."
