"Opens quite early for breakfast. Food was decent but came out barely lukewarm. Service is efficient and they check on you often. Dining area is very clean and looks like it was renovated recently. Drop by if you’re in the area but otherwise there’s loads of other breakfast cafes around."

"My friend and I went to Zaza Diner for brunch on a Friday at 10:30am. I did not think a random diner in the financial district would need reservations, but when I arrived, it was POPPING! I would recommend making a reservation if you come here during a peak dining hour. Fortunately, several tables turned when we put our names down, so we only had to wait 10 minutes. The interior is like an upscale diner. They have a pretty display case with their pastries and the classic long diner booths. The prices on the menus online are higher than what they are, and I paid in cash for a discount. I do not remember the prices, but I remember thinking they were reasonable for the location. My friend ordered the breakfast nachos, and I ordered what I believe was called American breakfast. My friend enjoyed the nachos and only did not finish them because the portion size was huge. For me, I chose the breakfast because it is one of the few I have seen that came with a croissant. I wish they told me that everything would be on the croissant. If so, I would have asked for the components separated. The sandwich ended up being pretty greasy, which would not happen if I had everything separate. However, the home fries were delicious! If you like crispiness on your home fries, you will appreciate them here. Service here was non-existent with the exception of our orders being taken and delivered. There were no check-backs or water refills, and we had to go to the front of the restaurant to pay. However, the front-of-the-house staff made up for that with their helpfulness and positivity. If you are in the area, I think this is a nice place to eat, but it is not somewhere I would go out of my way for."

"Good place to eat. Wasn’t anything special though. I had a Belgian waffle and what I thought was going to be normal sausage…but it was some kind of gross sausage. Disappointing. Hubby had an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich, he liked it. My daughter had an omelet with home fries..she liked her breakfast also. I just wasn’t impressed. Service was good though!!"

"We found this restaurant by google when searching for restaurant nearby our hotel. But this place beyond our expectation. Their American breakfast came in huge portion and very delicious, especially egg benedict. And the dessert we ordered are all great. We even came back to order it again and packed to our country. Recommended!"

"Breakfast potatoes were so good! Portions are huge here. Other brunch items were ok, nothing extraordinary to write about. Service was fast and efficient. They do charge 4% extra for credit card like some other places in New York."
