"I couldn't have been happier with the work that the Shadow Painting team did. The team was professional, clean and did an absolutely great job. What definitely recommend them to anyone."
"I decided to remodel my 2 full bathrooms (Master and Hall Bath) after seeing many inspiration photos on “Houzz”, “Pinterest” and “Like to Know”. I knew that I wanted a change, and it was simple for my Hall bathroom because the layout was just a box. But for my Master, I couldn’t picture anything but updating the fixtures that were already there, because I couldn’t see past the layout. I searched Instagram, Google, and Nextdoor for recommendations and reviews and found several contractors. I narrowed my choices down to a small number of contractors and spoke with them about the project, being sure to take note of my likes and dislikes. The things that were important to me were: Lots of good reviews, Cost (overall cost, amount of retainer fee, draw percentages), Workmanship, Quality Control, Customer Service, Timeliness, and Design. Although cost is very important, design was the most important for me in making a choice of who my contractor would be. Of the contractors, Shadow1 Painting & Remodel was the only company that gave me a vision of what my Master could be on the initial call, and that is why I chose them, and they did not disappoint. My initial meeting was a virtual meeting. Beforehand I submitted pictures of my then current bathrooms, and inspiration photos that I found from different sites. Shadow1 asked questions like, “what’s behind that wall?”, “can we take space from the closet?”. Things I had never even thought of. They then gave me estimates based on the inspiration photos but needed to come out and physically see my Master Bath. We set up an appointment and Shadow1 came out and took measurements, and came up with the concept of putting my shower and bathtub in a “wet room”. This was something that never crossed my mind because it seemed so far out of the realm of what was possible for my bathroom. I loved the idea though. I gave them a retainer, and started the process of ordering all the fixtures that I wanted in both bathrooms. I’m a pretty structured person and found out pretty quickly that so was Shadow1. In my mind “everything has a place, and everything should be in its place”, and if it’s not on my calendar, it does not exist. There was a schedule set out for me to see who would be at my home on each day. The schedule was so well put together that it kept the project going. When one person was done, the next was right there to do their part. They covered my floors as to not damage them while coming in and out. They even cleaned up daily as much as they could, but that didn’t stop the dust. I could see my invoices and labor and material costs online. (I still had my own spreadsheet where I kept track of everything though, because I want to make sure that all of my money is accounted for). Because they were doing such a good job and I was planning to have my Kitchen backsplash redone, and the trim and doors painted, I just hired Shadow1 because they were already there. The Master Bath was started immediately after the Hall Bath was done, and again the project went smoothly. The hall bath took about 2.5 weeks to complete, and the Master bath took about 3.5 weeks to complete. To top off all of that, once both bathrooms, backsplash and painting was done, Shadow1 had a cleaning crew come in and clean my house. You heard me, “CLEANED MY HOUSE!” The cleaning crew did so well, I hired them to clean my house on a regular schedule. I definitely would recommend the company as a whole, but I would also recommend every last one of the team members. JP (the owner) is so professional. He made this process easy although my anxiety kicked up a notch. Maggie (the Assistant) helped me through those fixture selections when I just couldn’t choose. Christian (Plumber), Carlos (Painter), Abraham (Fixtures), Ron (Tile), Sam (Electric) are awesome at what they do. I am now enjoying my spa bathroom in my own home."
"I was just expecting to have the bathroom removed and the shower updated. Instead I got a work of art. They came in, appraised the situation, did the demo, created a new bathroom, and created a beautiful closet where the tub and tiny closet was. They created a Masterpiece. His crew is very Professional and courteous. The results were beyond my expectations. I want to thank my niece for recommending JP Shadow 1."
"Working with Shadow1 was a pleasure from start to finish. Jaeda was so pleasant and professional and the contractors they work with were as well. While my job could be considered small, (installing pendant lights and repositioning the fixture over my dining room table to center), completion of the work was timely and done well. Jaeda came to each scheduled appointment and introduced the people who would be working in my house. She came at the completion of the project to do a walk through and officially close out the project. I love my upgraded kitchen space. Thank you Shadow1."
"Shadow1 Painting & Remodel was A+ from start to finish! Our main concern was the amount of "stuff" we have and how they'd deal with having to help us corral it before removing the popcorn ceiling, painting interior walls, re-staining the deck, and repairing a minor window sill water problem, all within a previously agreed upon time frame. These people are angels--friendly, patient, and beyond hardworking, with an old-school work ethic. Our standards are high; with that said, we'll definitely be calling on them again."
